Make Money Online With AzoogleAds.com

I received a phone call from Maggie McCarthy today - a representative at AzoogleAds.com - who informed me that I was a registered user in their affiliate program but have yet to log in since I joined.

I apologized to her and admitted that I really didn’t know too much about AzoogleAds.com and explained to her that I joined many months ago through a referral from John Chow but keep busy with many other programs.

The phone conversation went very well. She invested some time into learning more about what I do and the different programs that I participate in that have been working for me. Openly I explained to her that my primary programs that I use are Google AdSense and PepperJam.

As it turns out, AzoogleAds is very similar to PepperJam which both programs seem to give a new edge look at elements that I think Commission Junction are not. I have been a member of Commission Junction for a few years now and I have to admit that it has been a very rocky road for me. I have had good months but I’ll admit that most have been bad.

Explaining this to Maggie I also added that I joined PepperJam about two months ago and it has been a breath of fresh air. I have made more money with PepperJam than I have made my entire time using Commission Junction. I attribute that to the advertisers that PepperJam signs up in their program, the available banner ads, text links and tool, and the warm and positive atmosphere PepperJam harnesses.

I don’t know how other people feel, but when I log in to PepperJam, I feel very motivated and very positive. Their site design, navigation and system tools are very warm, friendly and easy to operate. All in all, its just good vibes when I am logged into their system, I feel the presence of community. I know that advertisers are logged in, I can see their online status, I can open up chat windows and speak directly with them.

I attribute all these elements to my success with PepperJam. It is by far more of a positive and interactive environment compared to Commission Junction.

I explained to Maggie that basically I have been on cloud nine since joining. The money is great, I particularly love the lead generation programs and it seems that the advertisers have worked hard towards creating very attractive and appealing banners, graphics and other creatives.

Having explained all that to Maggie, long story short is that I am in luck. AzoogleAds.com is a provider of similar services compared to Commission Junction and PepperJam. Opps… I have been speaking to her for 10 minutes, rambling on about how much I love PepperJam… Maggie asked me which advertisers I work with in PepperJam and then cross referenced these advertisers with the program they have in the AdzoogleAds.com system.

I am not going to mention any of the advertisers in this blog post because I am sure the internal data is confidential; however, I will tell you this, many of the advertisers I work with in PepperJam have also enrolled into the AdzoogleAds.com system and they pay publishers more money via the AdzoogleAds.com network compared to the PepperjamNetwork.

Now I am not downing PepperjamNetwork at all, I am a very active supporter of Kris Jones and the entire PepperjamNetwork. However, what I am doing is telling you that in this world we live in, especially those who are trying to make money on the Internet, that it might be a good idea to look into multiple options.

PepperjamNetwork is great. They beat Commission Junction hands down. However, what I wasn’t aware of was the fact that there are other networks just like Pepperjam. AzoogleAds.com is hot! If you haven’t joined their network, I would advise that you stop what you’re doing and sign up.

The AzoogleAds.com system is not quite as pretty or as well designed as the PepperjamNetwork. Their system isn’t as “User Friendly” and it feels more dry and clunky. There is quite a bit of white space and it requires quite a bit of scrolling on page to page. Really it gives me the same feeling as Commission Junction, meaning it doesn’t give me the sensation of being logged into a community driven system where I know that advertisers are logged in as if they were sitting right next to me at my desk. I feel somewhat alone and feel like finding support and help would be a little of a distance away.

While this isn’t true, as I know that I can contact Maggie anytime by phone, email and even instant messenger, their system just feels very dry and impersonal. On the flipside, let’s talk about functionality. AzoogleAds.com compared to Commission Junction and in many way compared to PepperjamNetwork has a clear lead.

For one, the advertiser offer descriptions are much better. When I review the offers from each advertiser, I am totally clear on how I can make money by promoting their business, product or service. Secondly, in AdzoogleAds.com, the tools available to create ad campaigns specific for blog posts, search engines or email are more recognizable and clear.

Overall my thoughts are this: If you’re wanting to make money online, I would recommend joining both PepperjamNetwork and AzoogleAds.com. While it is obvious that they are in direct competition with each other, I feel that both systems knock Commission Junction in the dirt. After joining AzoogleAds.com you may want to cross references certain advertisers and see which network will provide you with the highest commission. From what I have seen so far, the advertisers that I work with in PepperjamNetwork pay better in AzoogleAds.com.

Another element that I failed to mention that I attribute my level of success with using programs such as PepperJam, AzoogleAds.com and even Google AdSense is using a program called Micro Niche Finder. This is a software application that you can download to your computer that will aid you in finding targetable keywords phrases in Google that yield the highest number of searches on a month to month basis with the least amount of competition.

The latest version, MNF 3.03, has some newly added features such as discovering the cost of ads on particular keywords, Google Hot Trends analysis and a new random search for folks who might have writers blog and just need some really killer writing prompts.

SEOAdMax - Free SEO AdSense WordPress Theme

Special thanks to Mark Mason for pushing me to get this released. I am pleased to announce SEOAdMax Version 1.0.

SEOAdMax is a free, premium grade and very search engine friendly WordPress theme built for all those crazy publishers out there who just absolutely can’t live without Google AdSense and affiliate product marketing.

General Installation:

Installing this WordPress theme is typical of installing any WordPress Theme. Simply download the zip file, extract it to a folder on your own computer and then upload the extracted contents to your WordPress themes directory. Final result should look like this:

Header Graphics:

As mentioned earlier, SEOAdMax comes with seven premade high quality header graphics.

I plan to offer future expansion packs which will include even more premade header graphics to choose from.

Switching header graphics is very each to do. Simply open the style.css file and edit the number graphic you want to use. You can choose from the following numbers so far:

Look for this line of code, it is near the top of the stylesheet and replace the -005.png with the number header graphic you’d like to use.

Look In The Images Directory To view Other Premade Header Graphics.
Simply Replace the One Below With The New One.

Google AdSense Implementation:

Implementing your Google AdSense ads on the SEOAdMax WordPress theme is very simple. You only have to open one file and edit one line of code and instantly all the Google AdSense ads will start generating money for you. Here are the instructions on how to do this.

Navigate to the wp-content/themes/SEOAdMax/ folder and look for the pub-id.txt file.
Open the pub-id.txt file and replace the default pub id # with yours.
Save and upload back to your server.
Done.

How simple is that? All the AdSense units now have your pub ID # included and you’ll start making money online with Google Adsense!

Private and Affiliate Banner Ads:

Implementing your private ads and affiliate banners is just as easy as implementing Google AdSense. SEOAdMax has three sections where you can put your own private banner ads or affiliate product banner ads. Here are the sections:

One 468×60 banner ad - Located on the individual post page, top fold directly above the post title and below the horizontal navigation / AdSense link unit bar.
One 160×600 banner ad - Located on the home page, archive pages, category pages, static pages and tag pages on the bottom left side directly below the 160×600 Google AdSense unit.
One 300×250 banner ad - Located on the bottom right on the home page, archive pages, category pages, static pages and tag pages. Located on the top right on the individual post page.

Adding private and affiliate banner ads is very easy. Simply copy the ad HTML code and open one of the following files that fits the ad:

160×600banner.php
300×250banner.php
468×60banner.php

and paste the code into the file. Make sure not to add any extra lines below the code or perform any extra carriage returns. Simply copy / paste the code into the respective file listed above, save your progress and upload back to your server.

You can use any type of code you want, HTML, PHP, JAVA, FLASH, etc… as long as it doesn’t exceed the dimensions set forth, the code should load perfectly.

Horizontal Navigation Bar:

The horizontal/AdSense Link Unit Navigation Bar isn’t designed to hold a bunch of links. It is designed to blend in a few choice navigation links with a 728×15 Google AdSense Link Unit. You can easily modify and remove the link unit and swap it out with the links that point to affiliate based product pages. The choice is yours and the editing the file to do so is very easy.

To edit the navigation bar, simply look for this file:

The Auto Privacy Policy Generator:

Generating a privacy policy that complies with the new Google AdSense TOS is a snap. Here are the instructions on how to automatically generate a privacy policy for your blog.

Step One: Create a new page from your WP Dashboard and title it something link Privacy Policy. Naming the title is up to you. The body of the page you can leave completely blank or add a few sentences if you like. Writing a few sentences is totally optional as the automatic privacy policy generator will create all the needed information for you.

Step Two: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the “Advanced Options” section and then inside this section look for “Page Templates” and you’ll see a drop down menu. Activate the drop down menu and select “Privacy Template” option and then publish your page.

Once you publish your page all you have to do now is just link directly to it. You can hard code a text link anywhere on your blog. The most easily way to provide a direct link to your privacy policy would be to add it to your 728×15linkunit.php file or just include it in your Sidebar Widgets somewhere.

Why Is It Always Google’s Fault?

I read a blog post today where some guy was pissed off because he had a page that ranked well for a desired search term for a given period of time and then suddenly it didn’t rank well anymore. This individual then publicly blamed Google for making a mistake. “My page is indexed, but does not appear in under any search term. I didn’t pay for any links and I didn’t do any spamming!”

Obviously this publisher feels like he has done no wrong and hasn’t broken any of the rules. And that may be true. But here is the thing… Just because you play by the rules and do everything that you’re supposed to do towards getting your pages ranked for the desired search term doesn’t necessarily mean that it will happen.

“I was following the rules, I wrote good quality content and I even generated a few backlinks” The problem with that statement is the fact that this individual believes that his content was of good quality. Who is he to judge how great or poor the content is? “There is a glitch in the algorithm! Things like this that make you realize you’re at the mercy of Google and If they screw up the publisher is the one that bites the bullet.”

The page that this individual was bitching about was targeting a very competitive search term. When I did a few keyword searches I did discover that this page was buried deep within the results. However, another thing that I did discover is that the pages that ranked above it were better. The page the publisher built was built for the purpose of making money online. So, now I am sure people will ask, “Well, Garry… who are you to judge the page?” Simple… I am the end user reading a page that someone else built. I don’t judge my own content, my readers and people who visit my blog do.

As it turned out, the page this publisher built really didn’t offer any real quality content that made me do back flips. The pages that ranked above it weren’t really too much better but they had many more elements that the adjusted page didn’t, such as PageRank, inbound links and incoming traffic.

I’ll tell you this though… even if you play by the rules and do everything right, this doesn’t guarantee that your page is going to rank exactly as you want it. Tiger Woods I am sure would like to make a hole in one on every shot and I am sure he tries to do that as well, but it doesn’t happen. Does Tiger Woods then blame is clubs for being faulty? Does he blame the ball as being defective?

If you build a page or write a blog post, etc.. and it turns out to not rank for the term(s) or desired positions you were aiming for, don’t blame Google or say that there is a glitch in the system. At one point in time, most people blamed God for everything. But now it seems like more people are blaming Google than they do God. Perhaps God Created Google so that He could have less people complaining to Him about things.

My advice to you is simple. Build a site or a blog that is easily readable by people as well as search engines. Make sure that your content is getting indexed… From there, you do your job and then let the search engines do their job. In other words, don’t worry about it. Focus on building your pages or publishing your blog posts and then let nature takes its course.

Market and promote your content and ask others to do the same. If you produce content that people like, then you can almost count on search engines liking it too.

300×250 Banner Ads. These are static ads and are not rotated with a maximum of 6 slots available. Positioning of your advertisement is first come first serve. Total capacity is 6 Advertisers set up on a monthly subscription service processed by PayPal.com. Maximum earnings potential for GCDC is $209.70 / month.

Footnote Ads: Similar to the 125×125 ads, these ads are rotated in sets or blocks. Each set or block will contain a maximum of 5 advertisers. Maximum earning potential for GCDC is $300.00 / month.

In Text Ads: Advertisers can choose a specific word or phrase and have it automatically hyperlink direct to their blog or web site. In Text Ads is set up to automatically use the first instance of the chosen word or phrase in the articles. If the situation occurs where two or more advertisers purchase the same word or phrase, or partial phrase, the Text Ads system is set up to randomize which advertiser gets the first instance of the word or phrase. The other advertiser(s) will pick up an automatic link upon the next available instance of the word or phrase found in the post. There is no limit to how many words or phrases advertisers can purchase. Advertisers can purchase multiple instances of word or phrases to help increase the number of times their word or phrase appears in each post. Any word or phrase can be purchased by an advertiser. I will allow accept requests to advertise certain affiliate based products; however, these type of requests will be under go a full background check prior to being accepted. I will not accept advertisements that promote products and services that fail to fulfill the message being advertised and I will not accept advertisements that mislead the community readership of GarryConn.com.
