$4,139.27 In AdSense Earnings For Month of November
November was a pretty decent month for me with AdSense earnings. I made $4,139.27. While this isn’t my best month, it is still a very good one. I should be receiving my check in about a ten days. A few weeks ago I wrote a post showing you how easy it is to make fake screen shots, especially AdSense earning screen shots. I am including a REAL screen shot of my November AdSense earnings for you to see. When I get the check, I’ll take a picture of it and post it on the blog.

So far I have almost doubled that amount this month in December and I still have another week to go before the month ends.
In addition to having a great December in AdSense earnings, I have made quite a bit of money with Amazon.com. If you have been reading my blog for awhile, especially earlier this year in 2008, then you know that I was struggling to figure out a way to make money with Amazon. I think that I have finally figured out a great system for converting traffic I send to Amazon into sales.
How have your earnings been so far this month in December? How did things go for you in November? What kind of plans do you have for 2009? I can tell you that I am going to be one busy blogger in 2009. My goals for 2009 are to spend much less messing around and more time focusing on doing the things that make money. Those are my simple goals for 2009. What goals are you setting for yourself for 2009?

Very impressive earnings. So that would be a CPM of just under $22? I didn’t think Adsense still worked that well. Or am I getting my maths wrong??
4K out of 30-35K visits per month is nothing but AWESOME! This is a great achievement and I would like to learn a few tricks from you
My blog has only 1/4th of your traffic but AdSense income is not even 1/10th

Very nice screen shot. I had my biggest adsense month in November, but December has fallen off pretty hard. I started off the first 10 days of Dec with my strongest earnings yet, but the main site that was earning for me saw a drop in CTR rather suddenly. The traffic per day and the source of traffic didn’t change (still almost all google hits), but my CTR was cut in half. Hopefully I can figure out why and fix the problem for next month.
You dont use adsense for feeds?????

December for my earnings via ads is less then november … i think maybe its coz of new yr n Christmas occasion … also noticed fall in traffic too …

My goal for 2009 is to work 12 times harder so that I can make my total earnings this year every month in 2010. I don’t think that’s too unreasonable. Again focusing on what makes money is probably the key. I’d like to work on GPR again, since it dropped, but it doesn’t seem to matter earnings wise.
When I saw this on twitter, I was like, “Whoa!” That’s amazing. I’m trying to learn how to do just a tenth of that. I had a question about a post I can’t find on your website. I’ll try to email you later.

I have actually tweaked my adsense sites to where instead of an average of 50 cents per click, I am now up and over 75 cents across my entire network. (some individual sites over $1.50 per click)
The CTR has stayed the same. (you’ll remember I took your advice on moving some ad blocks around)
I had to really make sure to target my traffic because my main blog is pretty much “out of season” but I was able to tweek some other sites and really narrow in the keywords.

Very impressive Gary! I did 50,000 impressions in November but only a tenth of your income. And that is after removing adsense from some low performing sites that generate good traffic.

I somehow landed on your page earlier today (don’t know how?) and after looking at one of your videos (niche blogging) I was totally floored. I took notes and am now convinced that I should start from scratch on all of my blogs.

My November earnings were great but so far Dec. has been a stinker. Down 30% so far.

I have three Google accounts. The one shown above was generated from under 20 sites. None of the money was earned from GaryConn.com However, some was generated from GarryConn.com
If you’ve only visited a few times, I recently changed themes and went mainstream with AdSense again on GCDC. This site makes around $30 / day with Adsense.
I didn’t really want to put AdSense on this blog, but I am failing to generate income on this blog via other methods. So, with AdSense as well as my few private advertisers the blog is reaching close to $2000 / month.
That in itself puts me into a better mood. I enjoy helping you guys, but I really strongly want to be compensated for doing it.
I actually don’t. I have started using it on GCDC as well as http://www.bloggingquestions.com.
Keep in mind, GCDC and the newly created BloggingQuestions are my only TWO blogs that cater to a regular following of readers.
All my other sites aren’t like that at all. They don’t get comments on the posts, people don’t Digg, or SU my content, in fact many of my sites I have purposely removed the comment template to prevent comments from displaying.
Adsense on my feeds would be useless because I don’t have subscribers on them.
My deal blogs have around 1500 subscribers, so I have plans to add that in after I get back from vacation.
Your question will be better asked here live on the blog. Honestly, I get tons of emails and it bogs me down. I put more priority on the comments because my answer will not only help you but also anyone else who reads it. Ask your question here.
If you have blogs that get a lot of traffic but don’t monetize well, you should use them for link building.
I had a celebrity blog earlier this year that ended up getting what seemed like as much traffic as John Chow gets. Needless to say, I couldn’t make crap off the site. It was a burden on my server and it was costing me money to keep it online. I eventually shut it down.
I couldn’t link build on the site because what am I going to do, hot link the word Britney to Blackberry? lol
Traffic isn’t the most important thing with a web site. Granted it is VERY important. However, one must know what to do with the traffic prior to receiving the traffic.
Also, it is much easier to own 100 blogs each receiving 100 visits per day rather than one blog that receives 10,000.
Traffic is traffic no matter what. So if you own 100 blogs with a total count of 10,000 visits, its the same as one blog with 10,000.
It is better too, because if I have 10 blogs get banned, I have 90 other sites that can carry the load. Meaning, if I lose 10 sites, I will pull the content from it and publish it on a different blog.
Content is like gasoline for blogs. If you blog blows a motor, you better drain the gas out of it and put it into another blog before you take the broken blog to the junk yard. You must excuse my Tennessee redneck analogy. There’s a lot of cars on concrete blogs where I come from. lol.
I like building my themes off of Default. Its the theme that comes with WordPress. WordPress is awesome as it is, so one would assume that the default theme that comes with WordPress is good too. I make a very minor tweaks, add some CSS pizazz and I am done.

Wow, great earnings… I earn only a little amount with my Adsense and it takes me many months (not to mention the exact months). How did you that?
My first goal is to be sure not to miss the post (newsletter article?) where you reveal the secret Amazon sales trick.
As for Mike…I highly doubt he clicks “subscribe to comments” (most spammers don’t), so he never gets you’re repeated pleas.
I can’t say I made anything close to what you made, but I’m having another pretty good month with Adsense and my websites, and since November was my best month ever, and this one is on par with that one with an extra day, who knows, right?

Nicely done. Why 3 Adsense accounts? Is CTR higher on certain sites so you group them together for higher payout? Or just bookkeeping?
I actually earned 5x more this december than any other month because of aggresive marketing strategies and reading of various articles about earning money online.
