A Brand New Way To Make Money Online
Who is looking for new ways to make money? What blogger is looking for a new way to make money online? On July 15th, 2007… millions of people will be introduced to a brand new system that will revolutionize how you can make money online.
Last night, I was contacted by email from a gentleman named, Gavin Mountford. He made contact with me using my online form found on my contact page and inquired about the costs of advertising on the site. Needless to say, Gavin must know something that I and millions of other bloggers don’t know and feels that it is of utmost importance to broadcast this message. Consequently, and putting my cards on the table here, I am personally getting paid a lot of money to write and publish this article. So, in my opinion, and I have always been a straight shooter, this new system… this next generation of “How To Make Money Online“, is HOT! How could it not be? To have been paid such a large amount of money to advertise it… to me, that means that this system is real and that they have got something really important to say. They have got my attention! Mark my words… I can’t wait to see what they will be offering on July 15th. You will never know unless you register into their system. There is no cost to register.
I have agreed to advertise the banner that you now see on the site, for two weeks. I have agreed to write an article (this article that you are reading now) about this new generation system that will revolutionize how millions will make money online. I am writing this article for my target audience. All I ask is to do what my advertiser asked me, and that is to take a few seconds out of your day to visit the page and get your name registered into their system and be prepared for their next stage. Gavin Mountford explained to me that there are also quite a few videos on YouTube that explain more about this next generation in business. I spent over an hour watching all the videos and I have to admit, that I am a little on edge and excited to see what will be reveled on July 15, 2007!
Are you looking for a brand new way to make money online? If so, then get ready… because I have a good feeling about this one. I will be displaying their banner for two weeks. Don’t wait too long, this might be the next best program since Google Adsense. You will never know unless you learn more!

Hi Garry, this looks interesting. I viewed a couple of their videos and registered on their site. Admittedly, there’s a lot of hype to sift through. In fact, the report you can download from their site is 99% hype in my opinion, but finally got something of value out of the last few pages of it.
I’ll be monitoring this revolution, but in the meantime, I don’t think it would hurt if I post their banner on my blog.
That’s pretty cool that you were contacted out of the blue like that. Cha-ching!
I hear you on the over hype… things of this nature tend to be that way… but I have to admit that anyone that pays me to broadcast a message like this… must have something really juicy to offer me! I really can’t wait to see what comes of this. I too have registered and recommend everyone do the same… It can do absolutely no harm, and there is an extremely high potential for all of us to get a little break and a little luck and finally make some good money online. So, for now… we register, sit back and wait. I am honestly, pretty excited to see what comes of this. They have got my attention!
I am not going to lie… and don’t get me wrong, I love money! and I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a lot of it… I do very well with things like Adsense. In fact, I totally love Adsense. But, there is nothing wrong with listening to what someone else has to offer. Regardless of what happens though, I will always use Google Adsense. I am a very strong supporter of Google, Inc. I admire their administration, their company and their objectives. Google rocks… without a doubt…
But…. EVO? Hmmm… sounds pretty cool to me! and without a doubt… I am totally staying tuned into that channel!
Thanks for telling me about the comments being down… and also I will be responding back to you soon about the redirect question.
Best Regards,
Garry Conn
Sorry, without going through the ton of videos , can someone point me to which single video explains it all.?
This one sums it up pretty well.
Wow, these guys are the masters of marketing — they’re saying all the right buzz words in all the right places. This video helped me understand a little more that wasn’t explained in their site or report. I hope this is as easy and profitable as they say it is.
Garry, do you know if the referral link they offer users (tools > page links) is the same as if you had emailed someone using the tell-a-friend form on evo’s site? I ask because I don’t much like sending sale-type messages to friends. I figured that since the link contains a unique identifier that it would.
These guys are certainly masters, but only of creating hype over nothing. I do not believe one word of what they are saying. This is an unknown company with no credibility trying making out they have ‘the next great thing’. The opening statements in this video are classic for the ‘get rich quick’ or ‘pyramid schemes’ that I have seen before, they make grand statements about size of markets that they are not even going to impact, for instance they mention the size of the global game market share alongside social networking, neither have anything to do with each other, and if you think they are going to announce ‘breaking into’ the games market then please do not believe them or delude yourself, before I got involved within the web industry I was very senior within the games industry and they certainly are in no position to make any difference or announce anything significant.
Throughout all the videos all you hear is how YOU are going to make money, does this not worry anyone? this is playing upon peoples dreams that they are going to get rich quick, there is NO SUCH THING, making money comes with hard work and nothing more. Although very cleverly veiled they do make several monetary mentions that you will make money out of recruiting others to the ’cause’, this is obviously a pyramid scheme tactic. You are made massive promises that you can make ‘n’ if you recruit hundreds of your friends, who then in turn have to recruit hundreds of friends, there is only EVER one winner in these and thats the person at the top.
In any REAL new product release they do not use these kinds of tactics, they do not need to, this again tells you that behind all the marketing and buzzwords there is going to be nothing at the end of it. It is almost certainly going to be some kind of communal sales platform which requires you to sell their crappy merchanise for a tiny cut and they make all the money.
Garry, I cannot to be honest believe you have fallen for this rubbish, and that you should sully your blog to get involved for however much money, your readership may include people are desperate to make money (you blog is about making money!) but you should be protecting them from this kind of drivel not promoting it. You are now officially unsubscribed. If I am wrong then I apologise but I think that very very very unlikely.
So people, please BEWARE, if you subscribe use an alternate email address, if they ask for money to attend anything do NOT GO.
one question….does it cost money to join? Now I know it doesn’t cost to sign up to get the updates.
I honestly have no idea. In order to get more information about this business for the article, I registered and found access to tons of “Hype” as others are calling it. If you have any specific questions about this, I think they should be directed to my advertiser. I am going to ask him to make an appearance here and subscribe to the feed here so that he can receive comment notifications.
I have registered, and I am just waiting to see what happens on July 15th. If it is something that I am interested in, great! If, not… then no harm done. By registering with them, I am not going to give my computer a virus, they aren’t asking me for money, etc… But as far as info goes, I have no more info about this program than you. I have watched all the videos, and at this point in time… it’s the curiosity.
I have no idea. I am not going to pay any money. If on July 15th, in order to “really sign up” if that is how it works, and they want money… I am not paying. I have many things that make money online that I don’t have to pay for. So, if it comes down to having to pay them money, don’t. Just my .02c’s worth.
Hi Guys,
Its Gavin who arranged the blog post and advertisement on the site.
I will attempt to clarify a few things, and answer a few questions.
At present, there is a huge amount of hype, this is exactly what the company wants. There is little information on the whole business model and we are receiving small bite sized chunks of information, including videos on the whole set up.
The Internet is hype, this is what gets people talking. Everything will be released on the 15th July at the conference.
VWD the company behind this have been around for 5 years with another business model that has done very well. They have been working on this for the last 2 yrs and are finally about to combine Online Gaming, Social Networking (Web 2.0) and Networking together to create a great business.
We are actually in Pre-Pre launch at present, after the 15th we will be in pre launch for 60 days and will all have our own fully working site to refer people to, similar to myspace, bebo, face party etc.
Here is some info I saw a couple of days ago that may help. I will post this in a seperate comment.
WARNING: EVO opportunity is not what you think it is!
Please pass on this message to all your frontline team members!
This email may be a little lengthy, but if you want you and your team to succeed then I highly advise you to read it in its entirety.
Since we started the pre-pre-launch of “project e-play” with our group last weekend (June 9th), thousands of people have registered with EVO and now have their own replicated site to be able to go out there and promote this opportunity before we approach the pre-launch phase on July 15th. The growth has been incredible. However, many of you may not realise the true magnitude of what you have in your hands right now.
So to help you all understand the vision and the concept, here is a simple explanation:
The EVO opportunity is not your normal run-of-the-mill MLM opportunity.
There are 3 powerful elements that have come together to create the EVO opportunity:
1. Social Networking
2. Casual Skill Games, or family entertainment / recreational games.
Choose your words carefully, as we do not want people to think we are in any way associated with gaming or gambling, which EVO is most certainly not – that is why it is a global opportunity with no legal restrictions, anywhere, including the USA.
3. Multi-level Marketing (MLM) – with a powerful pay plan. EVO is about:
• Building a social networking community – just like “YouTube” or “MySpace”
• Allowing members of the community to socially interact
• Having fun and being entertained on the casual games platform that has been added to the social networking site
• Giving ordinary people the ability to generate a monthly passive income from the massive growth in both social networking and online casual games.
Like any social networking site, everyone can join for free, and use the social networking tools (being able to upload their own profile, etc.). This will allow us to populate the site and grow the community.
Imagine being part of a community wherein you can challenge your buddy, your team members or other people within the community to a game of pool, backgammon, puzzle games, etc., or get involved in multi-player challenges, or even tournaments, where thousands are playing in a league system. There will be interaction between people, and at the same time they’ll be having fun and being entertained.
You can play for free and develop your skills in a particular game that you like, and when you are a master at it you can challenge people and win cash prizes.
Now for those of you who see the big picture, you can get involved in the MLM business opportunity and as well as having fun, you can develop a monthly residual income. The pay plan is so simple – yet so powerful – that it will enable many who have never succeeded in other MLM programs to achieve success, so long as they are actively building their businesses.
The best thing is, all free members will sign up using someone’s affiliate link, which means if they do not join the MLM opportunity that this program offers, then the affiliated member will still make money from the player revenue created by the free community members. So to me it is a “no-brainer”: the best option is to join as a MLM member when the time comes to do so. That will not be until September, which brings me to the launch phases:
• We are in pre-pre-launch phase now, so all of us have the advantage of being “First Movers”.
• Official pre-launch is on July 15th; there is a big event in the UK (evolution day).
Those who can attend evolution day in Cheltenham, go and purchase your tickets now! There are only 2,000 tickets available, and I know over 1,000 have been sold already. After evolution day, your pre-pre-launch EVO site will be replaced
with the actual social networking and gamers’ platform. You will have the communicator (the powerful, unique selling point of the project), you will have your games platform with some of the games uploaded, plus you will have all the tools and many other features that will help you to build your community.
You still get all this for free; in fact you do not have to commit financially to the MLM option until Grand Opening in September. You have all the time until then to receive updates and information and evaluate the opportunity, so you can make an informed decision come September.
You can not ask for more!
At this moment, we have attracted some elite and high-calibre individuals from both the network marketing and the Internet marketing (IM) arenas. We are probably one of a very few companies out there that has brought together both types of marketers.
The main comment from many of the top network marketers has been the uniqueness of this opportunity. There is no other company in the MLM industry doing the same, and to many that is a breath of fresh air – in comparison to so many MLM opportunities which are involved in health and wellness, telecoms, etc. People have seen too many of those. EVO is moving with the times and keeping up with technology.
My personal strengths are in network marketing and developing leaders, and there are huge numbers of people who are more experienced than I am who have the same strengths. However, we also have a large number of very highprofile Internet marketers who are brilliant in bringing massive numbers into the community in a short period of time. In fact, one top IM has a quote which goes,
“Net Marketers call me their secret weapon.”
So, as the Internet marketers amongst us bring the people in to the community, the network marketers amongst us will be tidying behind them, providing the stable, solid foundation on which people can build their businesses.
We are working to support all of you
Currently I and a number of leaders, particularly from the network marketing background, are working on setting up tools and systems to support and help all of you and your team members. For example, web-conferencing in various languages will be held daily across different time zones, providing training and business seminars so you can direct all of your prospects to listen to a professional presentation of the EVO opportunity.
Thomas Oestereich [j1]and I have been working for the last few weeks on an automated business-building system, which has now been tested and is ready to be shared with all of you. This is an autopilot “email on steroids” (“EMOS”) system that anyone can get involved in, even if you have never built a business on an automated system online before.
We want to see all of you succeed. The leaders amongst us are working hard behind the scenes to make sure you all have the same chance of succeeding in this opportunity. We want to create a team “gel” and synergy, the kind you have not experienced before. However, while we can do all we can to help, ultimately your success depends on what you do and the actions you take. So get involved in the team and let’s go for a very enjoyable ride to achieve all your goals, whatever they may be.
Please also note: your genealogy is now available in your back office. Log on, go to “prospector”, and you will see the “genealogy” button.
One final point. In the back office of your EVO site, you have the facility to “tell a friend”. Use that facility to share this unique opportunity with everyone you know. Every person you introduce is potentially worth $100 to you in “fast start bonus” alone … so how many people are you going to tell about EVO?
To all your successes,
Your friend and business partner,
Parvis Parvizi
And that is why I have comments open. I want readers to submit their opinions, comments, suggestions. No harm in that. This is an open community. So, as always, I totally appreciate your comments.
Nick, I haven’t fallen for anything. I specifically stated that I was paid to post that article. I am being paid to display the banner. That is it… nothing less and nothing more. I did register, because I feel there is no harm in that. If this turns out to be a scam… well, there you go. I won’t participate in scams. But, if it turns out to be something real… great! Either way, there is nothing I can do but wait. So, if the world is going to be altered on it rotational path, etc… bla bla bla… we will all find out on July 15th.
I don’t have any problems with you voicing your concern about this advertiser. I actually appreciate it. However, it does puzzle me as to why you flex your “unsubscribe” muscle on me.
I find it quite funny. Because since January, 1st 2007, I have invested countless hours of publishing articles, posts, tips and tricks for bloggers who want to be successful blogging. I have done this for the most part “Advertisement Free”. I don’t monetize my site. I don’t flood my pages with Google Adsense… etc..
So, on the rare occasion, if someone contacts me and wants to pay me a lot of money to advertise a message on my site… Mark my words, I AM going to do that. I have three kids at home, I have a mortgage to pay, I have bills, I am NOT rich by far… I want my kids to go to college, I want to repair major damages do my house. I want to make sure my wife doesn’t break down again driving to and from work. I want my son to have good sports equipment so that he can continue to excel in sports and have the best opportunity. BTW, my kids need clothes… Today is Sunday, and my family and I will be headed to the Goodwill store… etc..
Nick, welcome to my world! I am 30 years old. Married, and a typical American who makes an average salary, has an average house, and lives the average American life. If you get a change, pick up a few episodes of a very popular television show called, Rosanne:
Now, why did this show do so well? Why was this show a success? Because it hits home with the average blue collar family in America. And, I am never going to pretend to be someone I am not.
For one, I don’t write articles preaching that “The Sky is Red” and have over 100 comments of little robot commenters/readers who agree with me. “Yes, Mr. Conn… you are right… the sky is red, in fact I always had an idea that the sky was red, but never could put my finger on it until you made your post about it.”
Or…
“Wow, Mr. Conn… excellent post, I am so happy that you told me to jump off the bridge… if you hadn’t posted this post, I would have never jumped off the bridge like the rest of the other people who read the post.”
In other words, my site isn’t like John Chow’s or others who have masses of people who will do anything he says, when he says, etc…
This is my site and WYSIWYG. I don’t do fine dining…. I don’t do conferences…. I don’t travel to all these special social blog events. I make money that pays my bills and feeds my kids… and on this site, I tell everyone most of my secrets on how I do this. Plain and simple.
I am very sorry that I offended you with this article. Everyone is welcomed to express their opinions. If you feel I have made a mistake in posting this, then communicate that. However, I would hate to see what you do when your own kids make a mistake. I am really sorry to lose you, however… I guess you have shown me your true colors. I guess in this world of blogging, I am beginning to discover that I have to be the “Perfect Blogger” and I am not allowed to make any opinionated mistakes… otherwise I will fall victim of the “Unsubscribe Hammer”.
Me again,
Just to address a couple of other questions. I am not going to defend this business, I feel it is for every person to make up their own mind. At present, its free to register, and then we will have a full working site until september. After this period, anyone who wants to build their business and make money from it, will have to pay. The costs are not apparent as yet. It wont be expensive but you cant expect to have a business and full support etc for free.
This will be covered by having a couple of active members in your group.
At present, I am working like crazy to help and support and build my teams teams. I personally have 1400 people in my group in 4 weeks since pre pre launch started.
I have numerous other websites/ businesses that I have put on hold to get this message out. The initial stages are the most important in my eyes.
I have placed numerous people in other members groups and have helped several people build groups of 100 +.
I will only help people who want to build and make money from this. I can also say that you will not make money if you do not work hard. There are no guarantees of making money, but if you are able to refer a few friends etc and build big teams, then you will make good money.
If anyone wants help, I will help them and give advise to people.
Unfortunately many people have been burned by similar “Network Marketing” businesses like this in the past. The only thing I can say is to look at the company behind it. Do they have a track record? Virtual World Direct are the company behind elottery, which has been active for nearly 5 years.
I can honestly say this is different as it encompasses web 2.0 and social networking together. This is the way the internet is going.
Here is a small video of me talking about building my group.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad0wg5NDj7U
I am not here to scam people, I promise!
All I want to do is to help people and at the same time I benefit also.
I am going to the conference which is pre-launch and so are a few of my team members, but no one has to come and no one has to pay a penny.
I hope this helps.
Thanks
Gavin
I do feel you have made a mistake Garry, and I really appreciate that you are putting a massive amount of hard work to make a success of blogging. I may have over reacted in ‘flexing’ the unsubscribe, but the whole thing really smells very bad. You say in your post that you are being paid a great deal of money to promote this system, but then go on in your comments to say you know nothing about it? Does that not scare you? Would a business take such a risk? of course not, your blogging is a business! you probably put in more effort than lots of peopel I know who run their own business.
I have done a very quick bit of research into the company that is launching this, ‘Virtual World Direct Ltd’, because they are a UK business I can get their company accounts, except because it is sunday the companies house service is down. So I do some further digging using the power of Google. I find one of their previous businesses ‘e-lottery’ this was a syndicate firm that rips off money off people to run syndicates for them. Check out this post – http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=17924 I have found lots of these, alarm bells started ringing.
I also found lots of ’single’ paid for reviews in which the company is promoted as being the ‘next great thing’, rather amusingly several of them across different sites were signed by different names but with the same text? suspicious? its certainly looks it.
Now, I could be wrong! in fact I hope that I am wrong, but I am just giving my opinion on what I read. As a fellow blogger I only want success for you, and again I over reacted first time round but I have known people to get seriously burnt by pyramid schemes and I dont want that to hurt you or any of your readers, again if I am wrong then great, and if you want to remove my comments, or want for me to not get further involved then just say.
Sorry for two posts, I just found this – http://www.fraudwatchinternational.com/known-lottery-scams-v-z/v-z/
This is an official anti-fraud website, they have VIRTUAL WORLD DIRECT down as a fraudulent scheme.
From the scamwatchsite:

It is important to note that some company and individual names listed here may be genuine. This is a list of names that are used by lottery scam artists – please understand that scam artists may use genuine names in an attempt to make themselves look legitimate, when in fact they are not.
We have a list of operatives, and a list of agents &/or companies – if you are looking for details in particular, you can use our search site function, or use the Find function in your edit menu.
VIRTUAL WORLD DIRECT LOTTO
The company is called Virtual World Direct – Not Lotto at the end.
VWD is fully licensed and is legitimate. I will search for further information for you regarding this.
Hi Guys,
Not sure if my other comments are pending so I am just posting this in reply to the last comment. I will post my other comments after this.
From the fraud website, the statement is below. It says that scam artists may use genuine names to make themselves look legitimate.

Nick, you are an awesome guy. I would never delete your comments. Never. Just as I would never stop associating with you because of a disagreement, debate, etc… We are all human. We all make mistakes. (Talking more about myself) My blog is a living, breathing, and walking example of my trials and errors, wins and loses, successes and misfortunes of my whole blogging venture of finding success and making money online.
I don’t want anyone to feel like that can’t speak their minds here on my site. I do not run a site where I want mindless people doing everything I say, when I say and how I say. I don’t want people to just agree with me. I don’t want a site that tells people to jump off a bridge and have 1000’s of people do it without question. There are so many blogs out here in the blogosphere that have 1000’s of little followers. These little followers will do anything the leader asks them to do.
My site, is not about gaining followers, but developing and exposing leaders. This is done by people taking the time to contribute their thoughts, comments, and expressions (just as you have done today). Why would I delete that?
Bottom line is simple. I have been paid to write a message. This message is published in an open community. And the message is totally subject to being torn apart, analyzed and put through the wash cycle. I hold no favoritism to this advertiser. I did register because I am curious to see what will happen on July 15th.
However, please… don’t feel bad for voicing your opinions. Don’t feel regret that you might have lost me as a friend. You are allowed to disagree with anything you see written here on my site! Only thing I ask, is not to say that you are going to unsubscribe from my feed because you disagree with something I say. It would be better for the community to lead, teach and correct compared to packing your bags and jumping ship.
You have done nothing wrong by leaving your comments. If anything, you have encouraged others to reach out further by reminding people to expand on things, reach out and gain more knowledge about things… I am cool with that, and I am cool with you commenting here… Keep your subscription and keep commenting… you are doing good in my eyes!
All the best to you,
Garry Conn
I am soooooo confused by this stuff.
Thank you for letting us know, I had a feeling it was a paid one.
You don’t do fine dining…I have seen a photo of you eating a BigMac…you lie
Seriously, you have clearly said that this is a paid gig and an advert, you have told people to wait and see until it is released to really know what is offered.
What you have done is perfectly fine..you should not have to defend yourself.
I would consider signing up just so I can find out what exactly this whole thing is. Just because I’m nosy
But I wouldn’t sign up for anything I had to pay for.
I think it’s great though that you were paid well for the ad Garry!
Well, I guess I;ll add my 2 cents (but that’s it, I’m not paying any more than that). So the hype sounds promising, as with any other hype. However, I don’t like the mention of “like youtube” and “like myspace.” These phrases send off alarms in my head. The reason these two websites are successful IMHO is that they’re FREE – totally free, including full support, customer service, etc etc. THEREFORE, for a company to compare themselves to those sites in order to reel in the masses, but then charge money (of course so they can provide full support and customer service) – just doesn’t add up.
There are lots of sites where you can play games against your friends, and lots of sites where you can talk to your friends while you’re playing games with them, even games for money. So I’m not sure why this would be a new concept.
So in the end, it sounds like you’re going to make money by having other people on your “team” (wow…i’m starting to hate that word) that will make you money by doing the same or paying for these games. Sounds like MLM to me. Though it could be legit, I hate MLM and have never made anything off of it – mainly because I don’t want to spend the money first to join it.
That being said, I’ve lost thousands in online poker
.
BTW, GC, I like the site. I’m flexing my subscribing muscle.
Hi Guys,
Thanks for your comments. At present this is in pre-pre launch, after 15th July we will be in Pre Launch and then 60 days later, the full business will be launched.
The full details have not been released but I can tell you that you will be able to use the site and play for free and lock friends into your network. The only reason I mentioned My Space and You Tube is that people understand these sites and have something to relate it to. Im not comparing it to them. It would be very naive to say that “We will be bigger than Youtube or Myspace” as this will never happen. (Although, never say never)
Its not going the the same as youtube and myspace, its going to use the social networking model, ie I am connected to my friends, and their friends, and their friends etc etc.
Everyone will be able to join for free. The people who want to make an income from the business will pay a monthly fee and will then earn a percentage of their whole tree of friends. The people who dont want to earn, will just be free members.
Just say for instance that I have 10 friends, and 5 or those friends have a large group of friends, everyone can still use the site and use its features for free but if I am the only one who is paying my subscription, then I will be the one who earns from the other guys games.
This is casual skill games and social networking, coupled with a very good compensation plan.
I am here to support and help anyone who joins this. It is free to find out more, and you will be kept in the loop and will get full details after 15th.
My group is now 1400 strong. I started advertising on the 11th June with 0 in my group. This is the power of Social Networking! I have put in a lot of time and effort into building this and I am willing to help anyone who wants to make money. I am helping my “Team” make money and have set up an email training course to help them.
There is only so much I can reveal at present, all will become clear on the 15th July.
Hope this helps.
Gavin
Hi Gavin, could you clarify this please?
“…free but if I am the only one who is paying my subscription, then I will be the one who earns from the other guys games.”
How can you be making money if you’re the only one in your network who’s paying a subscription?
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the questions. As a paying member in september, I will earn a percentage of all the games played by all the people in my group. People can still play games as a free member. There are 7 ways to earn, and earning through the games is just one of them.
The site you see right now is (pre) Pre-launch (hence the minimal detail); it’s purely for data capture and to give you the opportunity to lock people into your network – early!
The Official Pre-Launch is happening here in the UK on the 15th July 2007 with a full day presentation in the Centaur Arena, Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire. England.
The Pay Plan and some of the features of this opportunity have been commercially sensitive prior to launch, hence no specific detail at this early stage.
Based on the fact that several networking millionaires from the USA and Europe played a large part in creating the ‘unique pay plan’ which has been given a 10/10 rating for balance of commission payout and structure, plus its unique features, you are going to love it!
Here are some of the Jewels within the plan that I can mention at this stage:
Instant Pay – A payment facility built into the website that pays out the same day as a bonus is qualified for. Qualify for a bonus on Monday morning; you can draw the bonus out Monday afternoon! Qualify for the bonus again on Tuesday, you can have the bonus on Tuesday!
Fast Start Bones – *TBA (will be paid through Instant Pay)
Power Pool Revenue Share – *TBA (paid out early in the plan and is designed to cover the members monthly payments very quickly)
Promotional Bonus – This bonus is visible to the member on a day-by-day basis and grows as their network grows, they get the bonus by qualifying at the next level in the plan. They will then see the bonus start to grow again and get it by qualifying at the next level in the plan, this continues all the way through. A constantly visible bonus that everyone can have, that will draw people to the next qualification level. (brilliant)
Generation Commission – *TBA More detail could be available after Sunday, what I can tell you is that it does have Infinity Payments
100% Matching Bonus – This is BIG to the personal recruiter. You will receive 100% Matching Bonus on ALL the generation commission cheques of your personally sponsored, regardless of where you place them.
Member Placement – You will be able to place members to help your team and yourself qualify through the plan.
Hope this helps
I said I was not going to get further involved in this but I cannot keep quiet when I see people being duped into losing money.
Gavin, you say that you have 1400 members in your group? well done! you will I am sure make money from this illegal scheme, but all the people under you who do not manage to recruit members will just be paying and not earning anything, Pyramid schemes are designed to make money for the people at the top, not at the bottom. This whole thing has been built so leverage social networks & gaming but purely to make money for themselves, all the games I have seen demonstrated are just poor web games that you can get anywhere else on the web for free, as the other companies use an advertising revenue model to pay for them.
This company is also a nothing – here is its company records in the UK
Name & Registered Office:
VIRTUAL WORLD DIRECT LIMITED
2ND FLOOR 37 LOMBARD STREET
LONDON
EC3V 9BQ
Company No. 05652297
Accounting Reference Date: 31/12
Last Accounts Made Up To: (NO ACCOUNTS FILED)
Next Accounts Due: 13/10/2007
Last Return Made Up To: 13/12/2006
Next Return Due: 10/01/2008
See the bit – “NO ACCOUNTS FILES” ? this means they have never made any money or in fact traded in any form before. So do you trust them to be capable of building this million dollar empire they keep talking about?
Hi Mark,
Thanks for your comments, I will respond to what I can. I am not a spokesperson for the company but I have forwarded your comments on to them and will be waiting for a response regarding the accounts.
What is your definition of an “illegal scheme”? Is this the same definition that the police would use? If it is, then why hasn’t this so called pyramid scheme been stopped and the people who started it been put in jail?
As far as Im aware, its because it is not illegal.
I dont want to get into a battle here about this, I just want to get my point across, just as you do.
No body is going to force people to pay money to join, its their decision. I have posted in my previous comments, people do not need to pay to join and play but they will have to pay a monthly subscription if they want to make money.
I cannot comment on the games at present as they haven’t been fully released but we will see them in action on the 15th.
The ‘people at the bottom’ will be able to cover their monthly expense by the Power Pool Revenue Share – *TBA (paid out early in the plan and is designed to cover the members monthly payments very quickly) They will still need a couple of paying members to make break even but it will be very quick to get to this stage.
Also, we are getting a good opportunity to build our teams now, this is why I am getting the message out now. Pre-Pre launch… We are not even in pre launch yet so it gives people a great opportunity to get in at the start of something rather than later on.
I agree, there will always be people at the end of the chain, and this is what happens, but dont forget in order to help themselves, people will have to help others. This is the only way that these networks can grow by people helping and supporting other people.
There is a hierarchical structure to most business models, the big guys of the company make all the money, the guys who work in the shop or factory make pennies. With the social networking model, the big guys get to help the little guys make money rather than just leaving them to it, plus we get to earn 7 different ways.
I would imagine you have some experience in this industry and have been burned at somepoint. It just sounds like you are talking from experience.
I would be interested to hear your experiences.
Thanks
Gavin
Sorry that last comment was supposed to be addresses to Nick Halstead rather than Mark.
Pyramid Schemes are Illegal in the UK –
http://www.moneyweb.co.uk/essays/internet/pyramid.html
http://www.dti.gov.uk/consumers/fact-sheets/page38561.html
The company is based in the UK – I am no legal expert but I am sure because the trading company is within the UK just because it is a web based company still means it could be presecuted.
“The ‘people at the bottom’ will be able to cover their monthly expense by the Power Pool Revenue Share – *TBA (paid out early in the plan and is designed to cover the members monthly payments very quickly) They will still need a couple of paying members to make break even but it will be very quick to get to this stage.” So basically your admitting people are going to get burnt? if they do not get 1-2 people they will lose money? a pyramid scheme by definition must mathematically run out of people, and there are always more losers than winners.
If this does get any *real* publicity I can assure you it will be taken down in the UK.
Ok,
I have been speaking with head office.
Regarding the company Virtual world Direct Ltd – This company does not trade and is a dormant company which was set up to protect the brand name being taken over by other parties not associated with the group.
Virtual World Direct Ltd trades as an offshore company which is why there are no accounts for VWD in the UK.
Im not going to get into the full history of the company but I am happy and satisfied having been involved with VWD for 14 month that they are a legitimate company.
I hope this clears things up.
Hi Nick,
Pyramid schemes are illegal in most countries. Project E-Play will not get taken down in the uk as it is not a pyramid scheme.
Just to point out that there are differences between Pyramid, Ponzi’s and Network Marketing, the last of which is ‘legal’
http://www.entrepreneur.com/bizopportunities/networkmarketing/investigatinganetworkmarketingcompany/article35744.html
Im not admitting that people will get burned either. There are no promises that people will make money! It takes a lot of hard work and effort to make money, people need to realise that there are no free rides out there.
‘Getting burned’ to me is false promises and I am not giving false promises.
If someone joins and pays a monthly subscription, sends out 10 emails to friends to ask them to join up, no one joins up and they give up, then yes they will have wasted their money and will leave the company/business thinking that it is a scam and a rip off. They will then go round to forums and blogs posting negative comments about other legitimate companies and businesses, and I cant blame them as this was their experience but its not the same experience that other people have also.
I have spent 6-8 hrs per day 7 days per week to build what I have now. I have also helped a lot of people build their business.
Elottery was VWD’s first business has 150,000 affiliates, I am one of them. This is proof that VWD is a legitimate company.
Do you think that the people who own VWD would give up their reputation and waste their money to promote and launch something that is illegal and is going to crash and burn and be banned from the uk soon after launch?
We will wait until the 15th.
Wow! I am away for a couple of days and I am not in the top commenters list!!
Glad to see you compensated well for this ad, Garry. The whole thing, the hype and everything just gets my alarms going full blast in my head but maybe because I haven’t found a genuine one yet and maybe this will be a first.
Since there is no harm in trying it out for free, I wish everyone good luck!
Oops, I reappeared after the last comment.
Offtopic: Garry, you might want to consider changing the RSS feed address on the Subscribe button to the feedburner link too if you want accurate readership number. Or have you left it that way for some reason that is beyond me?
WEll, I guess he’s said it.
You can’t make money if you don’t work hard. I think that’s the theme to life.
I guess the difference is in other money making opportunities (such as blogging for one), an 8-5 desk job for another, you can make money based solely on hard work, without putting any money up front (though you could argue you’re buying a suit, driving your car to the interview, spend money on gas, etc etc).
So this opportunity is likely legit, but it comes down to the same basic theme as other MLM – if you don’t get anybody who’s in your “network” or “downline” or “team” or whatever you’d like to call it to spend money, then YOU don’t make any money. I think I could fairly say that’s an accurate statement, right Gavin?
Not to cast a negative light on your campaign or company, but I just want to be crystal clear about the bottom line (as taht is what matters to a business in the end). I believe the above statement is the bottom line.
What say you?
Hi JackBravo,
Thanks for your comments. You can make money if you dont work hard but you would need a few good people in your tree of friends who already have friends. I have chosen to work very hard to get this to grow because I tend to focus on one thing and put all my efforts in. I have set myself up as a leader in this to educate and help people make money.
Gone are the days when you had to speak in person with people about your business. We are now entering Web 2.0 which is community driven. Communities are networks and networks of friends are what you need to build your business. I have not picked up the phone or spoken to anyone in person about Evo – Its all been done via website advertising, email, and msn.
Just say I didn’t have much time to work at this but I had a few friends on myspace, youtube, facebook, bebo etc who have an existing network of friends, and one of then signs up under me. The are then automatically connected to this group of friends, who are connected to another group of friends.
It will grow very very quickly.
How many times have I had an email from either Where Are You Now (WAYN), FaceParty or Myspace from one of my friends asking me to be a friend. I usually accept and then over time I build up my group of friends.
This is how social networking works. It grows with very little effort and work.
People can use the site free, and build their group of friends free but if they want to earn money from the games that are played, then they need to upgrade.
Oops, I didn’t make good use of the quote symbols – I quoted my own response:-(
Well, Gavin, I’m glad you agree with me then that you have to spend money on EVO in order to make money there, and to make money there, other people have to spend money.
Hi JackBravo,
At present the site it 100% free and will continue to be until mid September, this means you have 70 days ish to build a group of friends for when the full launch comes. It will be very easy for you to cover your monthly payment if people find friends now.
I have people in my group with tens and hundreds of friends already and we have only been going for 1 month. In 2 months people will have groups of thousands so when full launch comes, their groups will already be set up.
I want people to see that this is the PERFECT time to get started. If anyone has a blog or website, sign up free, put a post on your blog, sign up some people or more bloggers and they can do the same.
If you get started NOW, you have 70 days advantage. You are coming in to the business at the start. You do not have to pay a penny if you dont want to.
You usually have to put one of two things in to be successful at something. Time or Money.
If you built a group of 50 ready for September, you could still keep your team of friends and do nothing, and not pay a penny. 6 months later you might look at your group again and see that you now have 200 friends so you might decide to upgrade as you will get paid.
If you know you are going to earn $100 straight away, would you pay $20 to achieve that?
so not pay a penny would also mean – not make a penny.
i’m not opposed to investing in sites so i can make more money on the investment.
i’m opposed to sites coming off as say you can join free and also make money, without clearly stating that YOU HAVE TO SPEND TO MAKE!
that’s what i’m opposed about your site – the method of advertising. it makes the site sound so much like a scam – because you tell people the beg (you can join free) and the end (you can make money) but continue to glance over the middle (you have to spend money, and oh yea, your friends have to spend money too). – that’s what i’m opposed to – scam marketing. congrats on getting 1400 people to sign up during the last month – i’m one (i signed up under the original post), but after hearing you pitch the site here, there’s no way i’m going to confirm my email address or have anything to do with the site.
but who am i … i’m just one person.
Hi JackBravo,
I have been nothing but honest when responding to comments. There is no scam marketing going on. The site says Register for Free (With No Obligation) to get instant access to more detailed information about this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I haven’t made any false promises.
All I wanted to do was to get the message out to people for them to make up their own minds.
Im sorry if I have offended you. It was not my intention.
I will be back on Monday now as Im going to the Pre-Launch on sunday, so will answer any questions then.
I’m not offended, i’m just trying to shine the light on the unsaid portion of the marketing – which is while it’s free to join the site, it’s not free to make money from the site. I don’t think that’s an arguable statement.
therefore, though it’s free to join the site yet it’s not free to make money, saying in marketing “it’s free to join. you can make a lot of money” in my book is scam marketing. you’re leaving out the middle part – the most relevant part I would argue – in order to get people to sign up.
In essence you’re misleading people for their sign up and in my book, that’s scam marketing. While it may be an effective technique, it’s sure not honest.
