With the recent news about the popularity of a site being mesaured more based on the time a reader spends on a site than the number of page views, I wonder how this is going to affect rankings such as Alexa. It is obvious from the fact that the advertising marketplace still considers the imperfect Alexa ranking as a basis for determining pay, that it will be a while to see changes in the arena.
