Anyone Know Of A Good Online Planner?
I am really starting to crack down on managing my time better with all the blogs I run. I need some kind of online planner or web based organizer to help me with this. Basically, what I would like it to be able to go to some site or program, log in and instantly have a screen show me exactly what I need to do for the day.
I am sure that there are desktop software solutions; however, I am looking for something web based and hopefully free! Does anyone know of a free web based online organizer that would allow me to enter in scheduled and routine takes where I can see them on a check list and be able to just quickly and easily access it daily and know what I need to do for the day? An online scheduler, online planner or an online organizer?
Does anyone have any suggestions on that?

I use http://www.BackPackIt.com for my things to do lists and http://www.iGoogle.com as a “dashboard” for everything else.
I’ll put up a post about it later today since I have been wanting to do a post on it anyway.
Garry, I’m an excellent “on line planner” planning isn’t my problem. Implementing that plan, “not so much”!!!
Actually, I have quite a few in my vast collection of bookmarks. I’ll email you some.
I like Remember the Milk http://www.rememberthemilk.com/ LifeHacker has a good overview/ get started article at http://lifehacker.com/software/geek-to-live/get-organized-with-remember-the-milk-309789.php

That would be the one that jumps to my mind at first. Hope that helps.
Garry, be sure to let the rest of us know if you come across any that may have been emailed to you. I’m interested in something similar myself.
I’ve been using Google Calendar for a while now for organising appointments and such and taht works well – they even have tool to synchronise this to your Outlook calendar, which in turn syncs to my mobile phone!
I keep meaning to look into Remember the Milk to organise To-Do lists, that has lots of syncing options that I’ve read about and will also integrate nicely with Google Calendar.
Those would be my recommended starting points Garry.
Ok, I know I already posted about RememberTheMilk.com, but a couple of days ago I read something about http://www.HiTask.com and decided to try it out – After I played around with it a bit, I started to like it – its real easy to learn, has a nice interface that supports drag and drop, you can export your data, collaborate, besides tasks you can also add meetings, reminders, notes and birthdays, you can set up recurring items, group tasks into projects, you can tag items, use start and end dates and times or not if you don’t want to. I am still learning, but thought I would come back and post again because I liked it so much that I went ahead and signed up for the $15.00 a year premium version after playing with the free version. Its not that RememberTheMilk isn’t great, its just the HiTask fits me and my needs a bit better

Hey, that hitask is pretty slick! I love the drag and drop feature.
This reminds me of another service that I don’t think ever got off the ground: Scrybe. I got a beta invite to it and tried it out. But according to their site it’s still in invitation-only mode. Wish I could send out invites to it.
Well Garry,
I’m an enthusiast of the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology and if you want to find some offline or offline software to implement it just browse to the gtd index and scroll down untill you find the software list.
I use the software Bonsai by Natara, with it I always carry my todo-lists with me on my Palm and then I syncronize them with my desktop PC.
If you want to know more about GTD and my implementation, take a look at my italian blog (… you know how to read it in english through Google Translate).
ciao

Hi Garry,
Keep and share – http://keepandshare.com has a feature-rich, free online management tool that can be used for calendars, scheduling, file or photo sharing, planning and events, etc. I like it and think you will to.
I use my girlfriend. KNows whats really baked about time management for me, I’m a qualled pjt mgr, but dont do so well on my own pjts. I’m also a liscensed plumber 19 yrs or so now, and I have a leaking roman tub filler. Sad huh. Hahahah its actually a running joke in the circle of friends. He can run and manage 3 custom home jobs but fogets when his doctors appointment is. Thats my mom for ya. keep and share looks good though. But I’ll happily subcontract my girlfriend to you Garry.
