Ask A Question And Get An Answer

wis

I just stumbled on a site that I found pretty interesting. It is called Wis.DM. This is a web 2.0 type social community where you can ask questions and other members within the community will answer you. Some might think that it is yet another Yahoo Answers, but I don’t think so. The site carries a very modern Web 2.0 design and feel to it. There are many things on the site that allow users to interact with each other. Overall, if you were to compare it to Yahoo Answers, I would say that it would be the equivalent but on steroids. The site looks cool.

Join For Free! Anyone can join Wis.DM. They don’t charge a fee nor do they charge people to ask questions. If you want to give Wis.DM a test to see if this could actually be useful for your you can join for free and then immediately ask your first Yes / No question. After that, sit back and wait for the community to respond back.

Drop me a comment and let me know how satisfied you were with the answers to your question!

Tried out Wis.DM and even posted a question. There are some intelligent questions on the site, but unfortunately, there are LOTS of crude-sters too. Since this is a new site, I’ll take a wait and see approach. Time will tell if the administrators of the site are really going to make it a knowledgeable site or allow it to deteriorate into another slimy place for creeps to spout-off in public. Already quite a bit of that on there.

That is unfortunate. That was my findings also on Yahoo Answers. Although, Yahoo has been cleaning Answers up, there is a lot of work for them to do. I guess the sames goes for Wis.DM. I would imagine that it would be easier for Wis.DM to purge out their bad stuff as volume is lower.
Great assessment Brennan, thanks for your feedback! I wonder how people compare the functionality of the site? If they got spam under control, I would say that they have a good chance with being a big contender in that market.
