Be Careful Who You Talk To

I am not going to point my finger or mention any names… but recently (within the last few days) I experienced two situations that have caused me to close my doors a little bit an be more reserved with who I talk to and who I trust.

In the past, and still to this day, I totally support the idea of engaging into online ventures and projects with a partner. Two heads are much better than one. I have a really good business partner, everyone here knows him.. David Cooley… Yes, we bitch and complain and challenge each other for time to time, but its all good! lol!!!

Before I continue writing further into this, I do need to announce that David and I have jointly agreed to pull DynoPages off the shelves. It is no longer available to the public and we are keeping the WordPress plugin for ourselves and maybe a few select friends (which we will probably give away for free as we are both very nice guys ).

A few days ago, I experienced a disappointing situation and together we both experienced another. I am not going to go into details about these separate incidents; however, I do want to say… it is great to have an open mind and trust people, but do watch your back and be protective of the things that are yours. People have a tendency to take more than what is truly being given. I don’t like to be taken advantage of and I definitely don’t like it when my friends get taken advantage of either.

With that being said. Do open your arms towards building business relationships with outside people, but still… keep your guard up and protect the things that belong to you. There is nothing wrong with taking chances, but be balanced with the risk factors involved with your interaction with other people and your ideas. GarryConn

It’s really sad that one person can ruin things for everyone else. I’m proud of you for not caving in totally, and I hope you and David realize that not everyone will do this to you.

I can’t say that I have truly caved in, but I can say that people will need to work quite a bit harder to pitch their ideas or successfully cause me to shift in direction on certain things.

I am sorry to hear this, Garry. I thought Dyno Pages was a very attractive tool and many would have benefited from it, it’s unfortunate to hear that one or two individuals have rocked the boat.
