In my experience, I have tried a lot of program towards making money online. Some people are more successful with certain programs compared to others. In this short article, I want share with you the programs that have been working well for me. Performance may vary a little bit for other bloggers. Honestly, the key to success is knowing which program to use where the content compliments it the most. There is one thing in common with all these make money online programs, and that is content. You have to have content… good content in order to make any program work. Here is a list of programs that works best for me. They are ranked in order of importance to me.
#1 Google Adsense: Google Adsense by far is number one in my book. I have made a lot of money using Google Adsense. Here are some tips for success:
- If you want your blog to make money using Google Adsense, you have to think like Google Adsense.
- If you spend time blogging about how your sister stole your husband away, then that isn’t going to make you money.
- If you do what I do, and blog about things that generate traffic consisting of people who are looking for a business, product or service, then that will pay money. Example: Boeing Aircraft Sales.
#2 Yahoo Publisher: Everyone bitches about YPN. People complain about YPN not producing relevant ads on their site. I don’t have any problems with YPN and in fact, at times YPN produces better ads than Google Adsense. Same rules apply to YPN as the tips offered above on Google Adsense. I make a killing using YPN and you can to. Example: American Champion Aircraft and Cessna 172 Aircraft.
#3 Amazon Associates: This is an amazing program. I have spent a lot of time experimenting around with this program and it sure has paid off. I have over $750 dollars sitting in my account as of now. I don’t want to receive a payment until I hit $1000. I figured a nice check like that could come in handy in a lump sum! Here are some tips for success:
- I really like their context links beta program. Add one line of code to your footer.php and allow Amazon to do the rest of the work. Amazon will scan your posts and content and automatically hyperlink relevant words to products being offered on their site.
- As mentioned above for Google Adsense. Don’t write stupid posts about your dog taking a crap on the floor, etc. If you want to make money using Amazon Associates, you have to blog about things that are relevant to the products they sell. Write product reviews or share experiences you have with certain products, or blog about your trip to Wal-mart. Use Google Adsense or YPN coupled with Amazon Associates. Example: Is Van Halen Regrouping?

Don’t forget about Kontera – I’m a big fan these days. The last month and a half they have been off, but they’ve been very strong for me overall since I started using them. If you’re running a product blog, they’re worth a look.

Leroy you are right. I didn’t mention it though because I don’t utilize it. I have tried it before and I found the other programs to work a little better for me. However, you are right… and it is worth the mention, because Kontera does indeed work and it works well. So people might want to consider trying this as well.
As time goes by, you will start to find a handful of programs that you want to stay focused on. And just as you mentioned, Kontera happens to be a program that you have grabbed by the horns and have run with it. Nice work man! I wish you very well with the program.

People do very well with Commission Junction and Clickbank as well. I suppose it all depends on your niche which affiliate program will convert best for you.
