BloggingQuestions.com Is Driving Traffic

with 8 comments

GarryConn.com holds its own with traffic. I get quite a bit of traffic, especially from search engines, well… mainly Google. With that said, I am always curious and OPEN towards finding alternative sources of traffic. I have been there and done that with most all of the social networks. Digg is lame… when and if you do get traffic, it totally blows. StumbleUpon traffic is ok but it doesn’t really convert well for either monetization or conversion into regular readers. Twitter is decent at most, but for me, the volume simply isn’t there quite yet.

So what about BloggingQuestions.com? Well, I am freaking out. A two month blog suddenly has become a three year blogs top ten sources of traffic!

That is no joke! For the month of December, BloggingQuestions.com was 9th on my traffic sources report in Google Analytics. To me, that is simply cool.

What did I do to score the traffic? Simple… I asked questions and posted them on the blog and I also helped answer other people’s questions in the comments. And that is what drove the traffic.

So, if you are looking for a great place to score traffic and learn more about blogging, be sure to visit my latest blog at www.BloggingQuestions.com. I am really happy to see how quickly the site is taking off.

What are you doing to drive traffic to your blog? Is your blog like mine, and scores a lot of traffic in Google?

  2. Morning g-man !! Bg is scoring traffic because well its useful, like GCDC. Actually I cant speak for what kinda traffic BG gets but i’ll bet direct traffic isnt all that bad huh.
I like it and have asked a few dumb questions and gotten what I wanted from it. So its no wonder that its being used.
What have I done to score traffic. Spent time trying to understand how the niches I am in operate and what interests the niche then doing phrase searches using micro niche finder along with keyword external to get a handle on what people want need search for then using that to craft titles and content. its a bit of work to be honest and I really wish there was an easier way :P (lazy huh) but its been working. So I think trying to think like the niche works, well for me anyways.

  6. Wow, new theme again huh? Anyway, I just checked Analytics and this site and blogging questions each registered 2 referrals. Not quite the success you seem to be having. My best estimation would be that your owning the site might have something to do with it.

However, I haven’t asked any questions only answered so far so perhaps that is part of the equation as well.

At any rate congrats on the success and best of luck on continued success with it.
