Check Out Google Fast Flip and Google Sidewiki

without comments

On SeoHosting.com I wrote two articles, one of which was a revisit, about Google Fast Flip and Google Sidewiki. In my article about Google Fast Flip, I basically feel like the new Google Labs experiment is cool. My only issue I have is the same with pretty much all Google Labs experiments. It seems like Google doesn’t do a very good job telling people about them.

Take Google Wave for example. I have been busting my butt all day to get invited, and it seems like 9 out of every 10 people I talk to on Twitter have no idea what Google Wave is or why it’s important. Yet, those are the idiots who have accounts. Luckily, I found three people to nominate me for inclusion early Thursday morning. I am hoping to get my official Google Wave invite email soon. When I do, I’ll be happy to nominate you for inclusion too. See my free Google Wave invites post for details.

My second article was revisiting Google Sidewik. One of the things that bothered me the most about this new experiment was the fact that content contributors, such as myself, couldn’t claim what I call, “Indexable Ownership” of the content. Meaning, the content I contribute would never see Google’s index. Instead, the un-indexed content could be stolen by hackers and splog owners and used on their sites instead.

This all changed because Google now offers the option to publish Sidewiki comments direct to your Blogger blog as a new post. This is perfect, because this solves the “indexable ownership” problem. At any rate, feel free to share your thoughts and a special thanks to everyone who has subscribed to my SeoHosting.com RSS feed. For those who haven’t subscribed yet, I’d love to have you on-board.

  • Google Sidewiki Now Available in All Web Browsers

Earlier last month Google introduced Google Sidewiki. Initially, I had a problem with it. Largely, because of two reasons.
