Congrats to Jason From LikertLand

What a great experience. Jason from LikertLand.com just bought and paid for the domain name BlogsFAQs.com. First off, I can’t help but feel a little embarrassed by this situation. The domain name I had advertised was BlogsFAQ.com. But the domain name I owned was BlogsFAQs.com. I didn’t realize this up until when I started to transfer the domain name to Jason. At that moment, my jaw dropped… “Oh, sh#?!!!” I couldn’t believe it! I couldn’t believe that I had put myself and Jason into a situation like that.

Luckily, Jason and I were communicating using Google Talk and I was able to have a straight forward conversation with him and tell him what happened. After pushing the send button, I crossed my fingers and hoped that I wasn’t going to get a lashing about being unprofessional, scammer, etc…

Jason, replied back and said that it was ok, and he can understand how easy it would be to make that mistake. I wasn’t scared to refund him, in fact I planned on it. I was nervous because of the misleading mistake I made, and I was worried that he would feel that I was untrustworthy. Jason never for a moment had any anger at the situation. I asked him what I could do to help correct the situation and he said to throw him $20 bucks back his way. Man, what a super nice guy… very open minded and understanding.

I couldn’t have found a better buyer for the domain name. Jason is a straight shooter, seems to be an honest fella and a blog dad like me. He has a cute little girl just like me and has two dogs as well. Really cool person to have the opportunity to meet.

Congrats to Jason for acquiring such a wonderful domain name. I have invited him to come back to my blog anytime to contact me if he needs help with the site’s future development.

Jason has a few other sites he is writing too as well. It seems that he is quite the busy blogger and has produced some really interesting sites. One is called Divorced Dads Online and the other is Newt For President.

If you would like to drop a comment and wish Jason good luck with the new domain name, that would be awesome!

Wow!! Nice work Jason… that has to make record history for the quickest dot Com ownership turn around and launch. The site looks great! And I am very pleased knowing that you are the new owner. The blog is becoming something that I will actually read and I will be adding it to my blogroll!

Nice work man, very nice work!

Best Regards,
Garry Conn
