CyberCoder Adventure - The David Cooley Story

cybercoderWithin this wonderful CyberWorld of what we call the Internet we have an individual who is known by the alias of CyberCoder. I am real pleased to have the opportunity to allow my readers to learn about a very skilled and great person. CyberCoder, real name David Cooley is an intelligent individual who enjoys modern technology and focuses a lot of his time on his passion for programming. David Cooley is the famous inventor of the Google Video Bar. Shortly after June 2006 when he discovered the new Google AJAX API he came up with an idea for a Video Bar and shared it with Google AJAX API lead engineer Mark Lucovsky in Sept. 2006. Thanks to David Cooley, millions of people now have the ability to display videos in their blog. December 2006. Robert Scoble interviewed Mark Luckovsky and Mark used CybersMusic.com as an example site for the Google Video Bar. A few months after the development of the Google Video Bar, David Cooley came up with an idea for a Blog Bar with Google AJAX API.

Prior to his successful ventures with Google, Inc. David has had previous success with the development, promotion and sale of some real successful dot Com ventures. In November 2005 David Cooley and his brother Mike, launched the famous site titled, CybersMusic.com and together they learned a lot about blogging and online income and later sold the site just a few months after hitting the Google headlines in Feb 2007 for a package price of $20,000. Jacob Gower, former owner of the very popular and famous BlogCatalog sold BlogCatalog and is the current owner of CybersMusic. Prior to the sale of CybersMusic.com David was also successful with launching, developing and selling xblGames.com in 2002. At the time was used as a forum site for new Xbox console. He sold the site a year later in 2003.

David is a ten year veteran in the online business world. He purchased his first domain in 1997, MSAvenues.com. At the time is was a site to showcase Mississippi websites and links. He later sold the site as part of a bigger package to US Networx in 2002. This was his first site where he made money on selling banner links.

Hey Mike,

David is a very cool guy. He has shown me some really cool and useful things with Google Ajax API and helps me quite a bit with many things on a lot of my sites across the board. Heck, he even helped me fix a little glitch on my blog during the race Sunday… and for people that know David, we all know how much he loves race day… I am glad to have David as a friend. :)

Awesome post about my little brother! I’m David’s older sister (not much older, of course). David is so knowledgeable, but he’s never been the most patient guy. Until lately. He’s been helping me get started on this blogging thing, and I’m still very confused! But, David has explained and taught me so much that I’m more excited about this than anything I’ve ever done before. I’m thankful that he’s in my “corner”. Thanks, Mike.
