My husband found 2 Gateway computer towers, complete with memory cards and lots of other things. My uncle’s neighbors had a garage sale over the weekend, and apparently decided to just throw out all the stuff they couldn’t sell. They threw out a Gateway 2000 computer tower and a Gateway 400c computer tower.

Now, my husband isn’t one to go out dumpster diving, but he couldn’t just leave them behind. He grabbed them and brought them home to see if they were any good or not. One had a big sticker on the side that read, “All Parts Work Great”. But he wanted to see for himself. He hooked one of our extra monitors to the computers and they both worked with no problem. One contained Windows 98, and the other contained Windows XP.

I think he’s just going to use the inside parts to upgrade the computers we’ve already got, but for what it’s worth, that has to be the deal of the day.
