Do You Have A Blogging Question? Call Me!
I have established a phone number strictly for the purpose of accepting telephone calls from my readers. Last month created a new service called, AskGarry! That service was awesome because I could directly answer questions that my readers had. Unfortunately, it required quite a bit of time and work to maintain and I had to discontinued it.
Today I am pleased to introduce the service back! The new AskGarry! isn’t going to be as complicated as it once was. The new AskGarry! is simple. If you have a question related to blogging or any of the other topics that I write about on my blog, simply pick up the phone and call me 24/7 at Tel: (931) 368-4210.
By default, your call is going to go straight into voice mail where you can proceed to record your question. Once you record your voice mail and hang up, I will then receive an instant email notification of your call. From there, I will be able to listen to your question and embed it live on my blog along with an answer to your question. On some instances, I may even call you back!
In the voice mail, you may leave your name and your blog URL if you want to score some free traffic. Do not leave your phone number as it will show up automatically on caller ID. If you state your phone number in the recording, I will not air your question unless you tell me otherwise.
If you need your moment of fame and have a legitimate related to the many topics I write about on my blog, feel free to call me anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Your question will go live on my blog.

Hey Man! I can’t wait to do this, but need to figure out what I’m going to ask you first. Aren’t you in Tennessee? You totally don’t sound southern to me. Where’s the accent? Sounds like I’m listening to a dude from California or something. Anyway, be expecting a call from me soon….man! Hehe

You can ask me anything you want. It’s a free call (minus long distance) that will go into voice mail. Your question will get recorded and then syndicated live on GCDC with my answer. From time to time I may splice in an audio answer with your question. In fact, there may be times when I pick up the phone and answer back live (again another recorded conversation for the blog). However, for the most part, this service is for readers who want to have their moment of fame and get some added traffic to their own blogs. So when you call, make sure to tell everyone who you are and how they can find your blog along with your question.
You’ll have about two to three minutes to record your message. As soon as you hang up, I’ll receive an email notification about your call and proceed to write a post that covers your question, provides an answer and in most cases hooks you up with some links to your blog.
I’ll be going on a family vacation this Thursday and will return March 3rd. My family and I are going to Disney World. When I get back, I am expecting to have a full voice mail box full of questions that need to be answered.
I don’t know how much this voice mail box will hold, so if you want to get in on the first round of questions, I’d jump on this and call me today at 931-368-4120.
Don’t be scared… your message is only going to be live on GCDC for thousands of people to hear and visit your blog! LOL!!! No pressure! You can handle it.

I want to address a concern that a few readers have privately come forward to talk to me about the new AskGarry!
Many people have told me that they are slightly reserved or even nervous to call me and ask me a question.
Guys I don’t bite! I am just a normal average Joe who want to help you become a better blogger. By providing this free service to you, I do two things:
(1) Help the blogosphere learn more about blogging and…
(2) Have some amazing writing prompts to build more pages and posts on my blog that will allow my blog to continue to grow.
Don’t worry about trying to sound perfect. Don’t worry about stuttering with your words, we’re all people and people are not perfect when it comes to expressing our interests, questions and things like that.
Here is another sample of a call that I have recorded for you that will help break the ice. The key thing is for your to feel comfortable, have fun and enjoy knowing that I am here to help you by answering your questions live on my blog.
