Does Google Adsensee Still Work?
My answer: YES!
Google Asense works great! You haven’t missed the window of opportunity to make money online using Google Adsense. People are still getting rich using Google Adsense. Google most definitely does work. It is very much worth the time and effort to sign up.
I have quite a few articles on the site that teach you different methods for being successful using Google Adsense.
Here is a quick summary of pointers. For more details and for a closer look at each of the points, I want to invite you to read more on my site.
Google Adsense Still Works!
- If you are targeting an audience of people who are aware of what Google Adsense is… then don’t insult their intelligence by trying to carefully blend in your Google Adsense code in a way that practically tricks them into clicking. People want to know that you care about them, not the money in their wallets. The know what Google Adsense is, they see it on your page, they know you get paid if they click, and they don’t want to be pressured into clicking. If the ad looks interesting they will click, if it doesn’t…. they won’t. But one thing is for sure, if you trick someone into clicking by careful blending… that reader might get offended. A reader trusts you to provide them with expertise and advise or references. A reader doesn’t want a computer program to attempt to recognize what their interested in. In many ways it’s offensive. People hate automated phone systems. Push #1 to speak with a fix-a-flat service technical, Push #2 to… So how is Google Adsense different? Honestly…. If I am reading content on someone’s blog I am looking to the author to be an expert in something that I am not in. Additionally, I am looking for the author to refer me somewhere or someplace where I can expand on this topic and further my learning or education.
- It is actually better to target an audience of people who are not aware. But same rules apple. Don’t insult their intelligence by trying to trick them into clicking. When they discover what you have been doing, it is possible that they will get offended.
- Using Google Adsense On tech related blogs, and other blogs similar to mine, might not be the best option. Because again, we all know what Google Adsense is and sometimes we click the ads… a lot of us don’t. Why? Because we all know that it’s not part of the written content from the author. These references are not unique and recommended from a person, and we know its technically an advertisement… a commercial!
- Do you share any NON-GEEK interests with other people? Do you enjoy bird watching, sailing, being a pilot? Etc… There are tons of things that you can blog about that share an interest with people who aren’t Internet savvy and have no clue about Google Adsense.
- When you do decide to use Google Adsense, use Google Adsense correctly! If you don’t buy into the program and don’t truly agree to the Google Adsense TOS and policies, then why bother using the program? If you don’t believe in the rules, then you don’t believe it will be successful for you under these set terms and conditions. If you have to “Tweak your Adsense Code” then that means that you feel you have to take matters into your own hands because you think that you can do better with the program if you set your own rules.
- Trust In the Program. Be proud of the program, and put the code somewhere where people will see it. Use the approved text above the code: Sponsored Links or Advertisements. I personally think the Sponsored Links is more helpful than Advertisements, but you be the judge.

I got kicked out years ago and they won’t let me back in. I sent half of a dozen emails. That’s ok because I realized they suck anyways.

Very good, but I have no results yet. Even my account has vanished. I am thinking why do I keep displaying adsense? I am going to get rid of it.

Mahesha,
It is totally normal what your site is going through right now. You don’t have traffic. That is the bottom line. Your site has Zerolistings in Google. I could only find one page indexed in your blog after doing a Google Blog Search for your direct url.
The good news is. Content is king. Always has and always will be. So far this month, you have created 10 posts on your site. Next thing you know… this one page I found in Google was indexed on Jan 22nd.
What does that mean? Again… content in king! In Nov 06 and Dec 06 you didn’t publish any content.
What options does this leave you? The only other marketing option I see possible is word of mouth, link exchanges, and leaving comments on other sites (just as you are doing here).
Without Content you don’t have Google. Without Google you don’t have traffic. That basically puts yourself in control of marketing. With that said, how many link exchanges did you attempt to make? How many comments did you leave on other sites? How many people did you tell about your site? Because if you don’t have content on your site, you can’t expect Google to be very eager to help you out. Google isn’t going to help people who aren’t willing to help them. How do you help Google? Easy, give them unique content, and they will give you traffic. Otherwise, marketing is up to you.
Mahesha, you need to publish content on your site in order to get traffic. Also, a second problem with your site is the design. The navigational layout of the site is a nightmare for viewers as well as Googlebots.
Spend some time reading here on the site. As mentioned in the last paragraph in this article. I have many articles related to this one here.
Any new blog site has the potential to soar and grow by leaps and bounds. But its what the publisher does and their actions that get them there.
