Download WordPress 2.8

WordPress version 2.8 is available for download. For those who already have more recent versions of WordPress installed, updating to version 2.8 can be done automaticallly by clicking the “Please update now” link found within your dashboard. The latest version of WordPress runs faster than the previous version, has some improvements to the themes and widgets section, and most importantly, it includes fixes for close to 800 bugs found in the previous version. Needless to say, it’s probably a good idea for you to update. Here is the official release video:
