Free Search Engine Friendly WordPress Theme. Download Now!
I have launched my first free WordPress theme for public use. It is called, Digs’em. It combines some personal design inspiration for the huge successful site, Digg.com, coupled with very search engine friendly coding. This WordPress theme is optimal for all the Internet marketers and search engine marketing people who need a great tool towards getting their content indexed and ranked in the search engines.
Digs’em stands for Digg and SEM.
I have always felt that Digg.com has one of the most search engine friendly website designs online, and SEM which stands for search engine marketing. Combine the two and you get Digs’em for WordPress.
The Digs’em WordPress Theme is available for free and can be downloaded by visiting www.DigSEM.com where you can see a live running example, get support and ask me questions related to the theme. I have started a Digg.com page and if you enjoy what I have done, I would love to catch your thumbs up dig vote here.
I look forward to hearing all your comments. I would like to direct all comments related to the theme here. I look forward to you checking out Digs’em and downloading it for your own personal use! If you should have any comments, questions or suggestions, I’ll be standing by at www.digsem.com to help you.

Hi Garry,
Thanks again for the theme . I decided to give it a real test by creating a new blog in the crowded and very competitive air travel niche. I only started this evening so can’t say too much yet but the first posting was indexed in about 15 minutes and placed at number 15 on Google for “You Must Know International Air Travel Rules”.
I do use a ping feature that pings all of the major services so that and your SEO design should do the job. I also use a Wordpress Google sitemap plugin that seems to get those spiders attention plenty fast. I’m sure I’ll be able to get page one listings on Google as I work on better content and add more pages.
Your Digs’em theme and I will become good friends over the next few weeks. The format will fit a good many sites that I have had on the back burner.
P.S. I just posted a plug for your theme at TravelAirHub.Com
All the best.
http://www.travelairhub.com looks awesome! That is so cool to see the theme on a live site. Looks real good and totally fits the niche like a glove. I am very happy that you’re pleased with the design.
Nice one. It looks so alike to Digg as we can make our readers vote on our posts naturally but will it work? I mean, the excerpts of every posts is only a few words on the front page, which is very different from blogs out there.
I don’t know whether this is possible or not but does the posts hierarchy moves up and down depending on the Digg count?

It looks really good Garry, good work. I’ll give it a try soon enough.
Wayne,
That would be a fun idea.. but no, the posts do not move up and down based on vote count. The excerpted posts are presented in a way for quick indexing. This theme is designed for the high volume blogger. You can easily modify your setting to show around 25 posts per page (assuming you can keep up with the volume).
@ Cristian,
Thanks for your compliment and comment. I am glad you like it.

Hi Garry,
I posted a comment about this over at the Digs’em download page, but wasn’t sure how often you checked in there. I tried to edit the google ad code but then I just seem to be getting blanks… any idea what might be my problem?
Thanks in advance,
–Justin
