Garry Conn Home Office Video Tour
Tonight is my first night working in my home office. I am very happy to finally be at the point to where I can work inside it. Everything isn’t done yet. My windows are on back order and we should have them delivered by next Thursday. Everything else for the most part is done.
I ran out of money budgeted for the project so many of the things I had wanted will have to wait until next month. In the mean time I pretty much have the bare essential to operate my business out of my office. I have a desk, a nice office chair and a laptop computer with a high speed Internet connection. Really, what more do I need?
The most important thing is that I am finally out of the house and in a very quiet environment. Sound (or there lack of) was on of my main focuses when I built the home office. When I am working in my office, I can’t hear any outside noise at all. The only thing I can hear when I am inside my office is the ringing in my ears. Having a quiet environment to work in is crucial towards my continued and advancing success.
I hope that you enjoyed the tour. Once again, things are very barebones right now, but in due time, I look very much forward to adding on and upgrading the existing things I have. In the near future I will have a much nicer desk, multiple computers, Flat Screen television mounted on the wall, small sofa with end tables, and some of the small appliances I desire.

Having a dedicated space for getting work done helps so much. One of the pitfalls of working from home is the many distractions, I can only imagine how helpful it would be to have an environment like this to work in.
very cool gary! working from home is nice! congrats man!
I bet that you deserve all that Garry and much more! What else do you need? A angel, kissing you in the hottest nights when you’re working late…

Yes! Everyone needs their space to do things that they like. For me, I really enjoy my job and my work and doing it inside among my family is something that was causing me not to perform my job well.
Thank you David. It has been wonderful working from home, but there comes a time when you need to take work out of the home and this was something totally long over due.
That’s hot!
Nice looking space you’ve got there. Can’t wait to see it all finished up.
Darn your socks, Garry! You tweeted a link to the video, not the post. Sure, make me look at my feeds to comment.
Ahem. 1: Looks like you’ll have some great natural light in there.
2: I thought you said the windows were in backwards.
Done now.
Really cool office! I’d love to have a place like that for myself too. Of course, it wouldn’t be a home office, as I’m just 14 and have to go to school everyday. But, I’d like the idea of something like a “digital station” for myself.
There would, however, be one difference : In your place, you’d usually require heaters to keep the temperature warm, but here in India, me and my PC won’t survive in a small room without a cooler.
