Garry Conn’s SideWiki Comments

I really enjoy the new sharing features on Google SideWiki. One of those features is to send your comments to your Blogger blog. The thing is, I don’t really want to send my Sidewiki comments to my blogger blog. I’d rather keep my blogger blog more of a personal blog, and keep my dot Com blog as a business blog.

So, long story short, I have created a new Blogger blog called Garry Conn’s Sidewiki blog. And, what I’ll do is send my Sidewiki comments to my Sidewiki blog, and from there I’ll take the RSS feed and send it into Yahoo Pipes for a little spring cleaning, and then lastly, I’ll port the modified feed into my main WordPress blog and publish the content into my newly created SideWiki Comments category.

You see, as a blogger, my content is important to me. I love to contribute my writing on the Internet, but I like to do so while also retaining complete control and ownership of my writing. I look forward to using Google Sidewiki, even more after Google created the feature to send comments to Blogger, and even more when I figured out how to pipe the feed to my main blog at GarryConn.com.

I posted my first two Sidewiki comments. The one bummer is you have to be logged in to see when pages have comments. I'm not just not sure I want to be logged in all day and have Google tracking my every second. What are your thoughts?
