Get Paid To Comment
I am pleased to announce a brand new incentive program for my readers on Garry Conn dot Com. It’s called, “The Comment Lottery”. The Comment Lottery is a program I created that encourages readers to comment on my site and get paid to do it! The program is very simple. Every time you comment on my site, each comment is worth 10 cents (USD). Every month Garry Conn dot Com will payout 10 cents per comment to the top commenter of the month.
Example: At the end of the month, Becky made 120 comments, Sarah made 100 comment, and Kevin made 82 comments. Becky will win $12.00 For being the top commenter of the most and for leaving 120 comments!
The rules are pretty simple.
- Whoever is the top commenter of the month will win The Comment Lottery!
- The amount of money that will be awarded is calculated by taking the total number of comments x .10c USD.
- You can’t post stupid comments such as, “nice post”, “wow… i didn’t know that”, “you are cool” etc… Comments must under go my standard moderation. If your comment is not approved or deleted you don’t get credit.
- If you place a comment and it doesn’t appear instantly, the comment was held for moderation or got caught by my spam filters. If you feel your comment was missed, contact me.
- In order to get paid you have to have a PayPal.com Account.
- Every month starts a new Comment Lottery!
- This contest is in effect as of April, 25th, 2007.

Hi Garry,
Nice idea Garry, I will be fascinated to see how many more comments you get than is normal. BTW It’s great your trying to get other peoples posts promoted on your site, but the current size of those sidebars means its too much to read, isnt there a style that is just post headings instead? just my opinion anyway.

Wow, what an idea. You realize you’ll have a ton of readers now. Great promo and what a nice gift to give your readers. My only problem is half the time I try sending you a comment and everyone is viewing your page as it never finishes loading. Wish me luck anyways. I found you throught the technorati train, but have come to really love reading your work.

Yeah it is indeed a good promotional way not only to find out the readers but also to increase the page views. But it may also increase spam and page with too many comments may take a lot of time to load and this will annoy the new occasional readers

This is an interesting idea! I am the top commentator already this month, and this will bring me up to 10 comments I believe.
Let us know how much spam you end up getting and killing before it hits the pages. I would be interested to see that.

This is a great idea to get more readers, but you will have to keep track of increasing spam. I have been getting lot of spam comments these days.

This is a great venture Garry . You will definately get a lot of comments from today , but beware of spammers .

haha, great idea, I will monitor this place to see how things turned out. Hope you will not be ruined by some crazy nerds posting 100x a week!
