Get Your Blog Listed In Loaded Web
I received an email from the folks at Loaded Web inviting me to list my blog into their new directory. Now I get a lot of emails like this, but one thing that caught my attention about this email is that their directory lists blog by city rather than by topic. I thought that was pretty cool.
I went ahead and listed my blog into the Clarksville Tennessee category. The process was very painless and took only about five minutes. I had to register for a free account and from there I was redirected to my own user control panel. The control panel is pretty cool because it gives me the option to list additional blogs that I own.
Quality of the directory seems to be very good. My blog was not automatically approved. It has to be approved manually. I don’t mind waiting, because I know that this is a safety measure that Loaded Web is taking to assure that only good quality blogs are listed in their directory.
Seeing how easy it was for me to register for an account and submit my blog, I felt like it would be a good idea for you to add your blog too. After you add your blog, Loaded Web asks if you would add their tiny banner to help spread the word about their directory. This is optional.
After you check out Loaded Web and add your blog, come back here and leave a comment sharing your experience. Also, I want to invite you to share some other directories that you feel are great places to include a blog.
One thing that does bother me about Loaded Web is that the email that was sent to me was a mass email. It clearly wasn’t an individual email that was sent direct to me. The email sent to me was via my own contact form; however, I was not referred to as Garry Conn, but instead I was referred to as Lesley.
With that said, I kind of decided to ignore that because I think the directory was cool. If you have any thoughts about that too, please feel free to share your opinions about the use of spam to spread awareness about new site launches.

Man, after that post I really wanted to give that directory a go but it turns out that it isn’t accepting any Aussies yet. Just my luck. I can say that as far as I got, the experience was quite painless.
No aussies? that means I am out too! But thanks for letting us know about it ‘Lesley’
I sumbitted my site and it was somewhat seamless.
After I was notified “Pending Reviwe”
The lack of spellcheck and barebones look doesn’t give me high hopes of credibility for this directory.

Google And Blog
[...] I was the first to comment on Garry Conn’s Get Your Blog Listed In Loaded Web and his post intrigued me so much that I was actually going to join Loaded Web, the blog directory [...]
Cool Garry. I will have to add this one to my ranked list of link directories. Thanks!
Mark
Thanks for the post Garry.
For those from Australia – we love you Aussies. We really do. Early next year we plan on opening up there too – just getting some ducks in a row correctly before we can do that.
As for the spell-check error – you got us there. The design is simplistic by choice – our entire purpose is to focus on finding blogs near where you live, and/or by categories (done through the tag pages which also display feeds).
I guess I should add that we just went live in the UK right now.
Hi Garry,
I just thought I’d leave a quick comment to say I love your new Chrome inspired theme, nice work.

Nice I added my blog also pending approval great post Garry!
Thanks for that Leslie, I can sleep better knowing that we weren’t totally forgotten. Have a good New Year!
*Sigh* only for blogs
I would have hoped that it’s a big directory for everything, but I take it blogs really is the thing now.

Added thanks waiting for the approval
