Google PageRank Updates For Jan 2008
It seem that Google has updated PageRank again. Garry Conn dot Com went from a PR5 to a PR4. I was hoping to maintain PR5 or even increase to PR6. I guess I will have to keep working harder at helping people by providing better blog tips and make money online tips.
Yesterday I announced a survey that I am asking my readers to fill out. By completing this survey it will help me learn more about you and how I can better teach you the things you want to learn.

One of my goals this year for 2008 is to provide such a wonderful level of blog tips and make money online tips that will thrust my domain name into the PR6 realm. With your help, I think it could happen.
Here are a few things that you can do to help me:

If you like my blog and feel that your readers will also enjoy reading about it, add my site to your blogroll. - Write a post about me:
Second thing you can do to help me is to voluntarily write a post about me and the blog. Again, this would be under that assumption that you really and truly enjoy the work I do and would like to share the information with friends and readers. - Add me to your Technorati Faves:
If you want to keep track of my writing and also help spread the word about me on Technorati, you can add my site to your favorites. - Join MyBlogLog Community:
Same thing as Technorati, if you want to help spread the word about my blog, you can join my MyBlogLog community here. - Subscribe to my Feed:
You can subscribe to my RSS feed. It would really helpful to subscribe to my email feed here.
I really can’t think of anything else. The single MOST important thing you can do to help me grow is by writing posts about me. This is by far the most powerful form of Internet marketing.
A great example of how you can write posts about me or my blog is when you read something on my site that you like, you can then write a post on your blog that tells your readers about the post I wrote:
 ”I read an article on Garry Conn dot Com today about how you can increase you blog traffic by 25% by making one simple adjustment to your… etc.. etc… If you would like to read Garry’s article, here is the direct link to the article etc.. etc.. etc…”
I don’t ask for much, but I am truly asking for your help. I can not do it without your support. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for me so far.

Sounds like a great plan and reachable. I’ve done all of the above though but I’ll link ya some more in the months to come I’m sure. As for google page rank, I’m not saying a word on that. I went from a 3 or 4 can’t recall now when I knew I should’ve went up higher they dropped me flat off the mark, I’m now a ZERO. So, I don’t know if homemom will be competing for pagerank, but she will be getting her blog out there and trying to get more audience.

I had a couple sites drop from PR4 to PR3. No big gainers that I see yet. *sigh*, lol
Remember that the toolbar PR is a couple months behind, so it is not really reflective of what you are doing now. With all the great changes you have made in the last couple months the next PR update will probably be better for you.

Hi Garry, i’ve put your blog in my blog of notes list. I don’t know if it will help improving your rank since my PR still O. & I’ve done all of the above, except technocrati and mybloglog since im not a big fan of them.
But IMHO without PR everyone has already known the high-quality of your blog.

I do enjoy and value what you wrote in the post. I admit I had about a week when I decided to blast out as many posts as I could… that was a mistake for sure and a quickly recognized one. Since that time, I post one article per day at 1201 AM CST. My last two posts were published a few hours early as they were very time sensitive and that will happen from time to time… but for the most part, you can bank on having one very nicely written post at 1201 everyday.
I hope you’ll scroll back up and hit that good old orange button again.

Looks like they’ve been no change on my site, I’m still looking as though I’m PR 3, I had hoped I’d go up to at least 4, but I’ve also changed my permalink structure recently without installing the right plugin first which hurt my Google standing, so I’m still trying to regain that and hope that my new URLs get some backlinks like the previous permalinks had.
