Google Wave Invites Now Being Sold on eBay
I don’t know about you, but I remember this just like it was yesterday. Do you remember the day Google unveiled Gmail? The only way to get Gmail was by receiving a Gmail Invite. These things were HOT. So hot, that people were paying over $200 for one on eBay.
Fast forward a few years, and today we have Google Wave. And, yes… you guessed it. The only way to get a Google Wave account is by getting a Google Wave invite. And yes… just like with Gmail, Google created buzz about Google Wave by telling the world that they will be issuing out 100,000 invites.
And yes… now these invites are worth more than gold. As you can see in the picture above, this is a real Google Wave Invite eBay auction. Current bid at the time of capturing the screen shot is over $100. Would you pay money to get a Google Wave invite? If so, how much?

How is it that this is the first I've heard of this? I guess that means I don't get an invite.
