Happy New Year 2008 From Garry Conn

with 40 comments

Officially, Garry Conn dot Com was launched on January 1st 2007. I can’t believe how fast 2007 just went by! It is truly surreal! I want to wish all my readers and visitors a Happy New Years for 2008! I am very excited to get this new year started! 2007 was amazing but I feel like 2008 is going to be way cool, especially for bloggers!!!

In one short year, I have managed to:

Write: 476 articles

Receive: 5,371 Comments

Consume: 327 Gigs of Bandwidth

Get: 535,512 unique visits

Generate: 1,017,472 Pageviews

Gain: A Google PageRank of PR5.

Index: Over 800 Pages in Google. Over 1500 pages in Yahoo. Over 2900 pages in Live.

That isn’t too bad for one year! I am pretty happy with these statistics! I don’t want to mention thanks to any direct names as I feel that it will create a situation where someone will think, “oh well, I didn’t get included in this list!” … there are a quite a few people who are special to me, you know who you are. :)

Thanks to everyone who helped grow this site. This website would be nothing without my readers and visitors. Thank you so much!

GarryConn

I Can’t Resist

I have to send out some special thank yous! I can’t help it… LOL!!!

In no particular order, I want to wish:

*Who else did I miss? I’ll add ya! :)

  21. Happy New Year to you Garry.

Thanks for the mention in your first post of 2008.

What an amazing first year you had. Those are some impressive stats. Not many first year bloggers would even come close. Keep on trucking man. The future looks bright for bloggers and you are leading the charge.

I like your videos by the way. Video will only get bigger during 2008 and way beyond so I am sure you are on the right track. Take a look at what this guy has done in one year with a video show. http://tv.winelibrary.com/ In one year this guy has taken a local wine shop from $3,000,000 in annual sales to over $50,000,000. Video is a killer way to build a business when it is totally intergrated into what ever else you are doing that folks already like.

All the best for a super 2008.
    Cheers,
    David

Thanks man… I wish the same for you as well. I absolutely love your Blogger.com theme for your site. Looks very similar to the theme I created for my good friend, Eliza. I think yours is a little better though… Don’t tell Eliza or she might have to barter for a copy! :)
