Happy New Year 2009 From Garry Conn
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Years and to thank you for reading my blog. Today is a special day. My blog launched on Jan 01, 2006. Today is my blog’s 3rd birthday. The blog is reaching close to 1250 posts, average word count per post I would guess to be around 500, it is probably more. My subscription count is constantly increasing with more and more active readers who speak with me. My social network profiles are growing quickly and I am making tons of friends and helping even more.
Writing on this blog has been tons of fun and I’ll tell you one thing, I am not sure how much you learn by reading this blog, one this is for sure, you would never beleive how much I learn writing on it. At times I question who learns more, you or me? What I mean to say is that writing on this blog has been and will continue to be an amazing learning experience for me.
With that said, I want to remind you that I have some unclaimed Christmas gifts that I want to give to you.

We’re going to have to kick Google’s Butt as well as The Net Fool for your PageRank… what the heck were they thinking? lol
I was hoping for PR5 and Jim thinks I deserve a 3. Oh well.
Yeah he also thinks John Chow should have a PR6 and Jim Kukral, creator of ScratchBack.com deserves a PR4 LOL!!!

Happy new year Garry! I learnt so much from your blog last year. I built my first niche site too – New Year Resolutions and fared pretty well. I can’t wait to tell you more about it. I’ve got big plans for 2009. I’m really starting to like niche sites. LOL.

I only have 30 subscriptions in my reader too… so you know that you’re really loved now.
Actually, I am really starting to enjoy Google Reader a lot now that I wiped everything out and started over. It wasn’t that I didn’t like the subscriptions in there previously, it was just simply unmanageable. I like reading your blog so I am very happy that you dropped in and left a comment.
You have 30 blogs in your RSS? I only have three: Garry Conn, Suite Jay and The Net Fool. Yes, I read my own blog’s rss… I am that conceited.
Of course, this can’t detract from the 14 email addresses I have registered to receive email updates from John Chow’s blog of perfection and all that is good… all dumped to my gmail account in dramatic fashion on the hour, every hour.
