How Do I Rotate Banner Ads On My WordPress Blog?

with 4 comments

You may be wondering how I rotate my banner ads on my WordPress Blog. There are quite a few different WordPress banner ad manager plugins available but the one I like the best is Max Banner Ads. With Max Banner Ads you can easily add and rotate banners in your wordpress blog anywhere you like without editing any themes or touching any codes. It’s perfect for bloggers who don’t know much about PHP or tweaking code.

As you can see, on my blog I am able to rotate a 728×90, two 468×60’s, and two 300×250’s on my sidebar. The reason why I like Max Banner Ads over other programs such as OIO Publisher is due to its installation and configuration simplicity. One neat feature about OIO, however, is the fact that once you have the program configured, advertisers can order, pay, and upload their banner advertisement automatically. Max Banner Ads does not have that feature; however, it is a feature that I am not interested in.

In addition to Max Banner Ads, the developer has quite a bit of WordPress software available, so I would consider checking out the Max Blog Press home page and have a look around. The CEO & Founder of the site is Pawan Agrawal. He is very kind and very devoted towards providing excellent customer service. I have been using Max Banner Ads on my blog for over six months and needless to say, this is a program that I will continue to use in the future.

  • The WordPress WP Super Cache Plugin

For me, it seems that the WordPress WP Super Cache Plugin is a very necessary plugin to have for blogs that have a lot of traffic. Many people fail to understand that running a WordPress blog is much different than running a typical or standard static HTML web site. Running...
  • What Are The Original WordPress MySQL Tables?

Why are you searching for the original WordPress MySQL Tables? Let me guess? You’ve been blogging on your WordPress blog for about ten months now, you have around 50 WordPress plugins installed, things have been going slow for a few weeks and now your blog finally kicked the bucket and...
  • How Many Button Banner Ads Does It Take To Screw In A Light Bulb?

I just find this very entertaining, enough so for me to actually waste about ten minutes of my life to write about it on my blog. What the hell is up with 125×125 button banner ads on blogs? They are a sickness, a disease, they’re Satan in a digital dot...
  • Prevent Your WordPress Blog From Getting Hacked

WordPress hacking isn’t always done by someone with superman programming skills who trolls into your blog through security holes and glitches in the system. In fact, a lot of hackers are just people who are more observant than others. When you write your username and password down somewhere you put...

  1. I tried using maxblogpress plugins without success. When you activate the plugin, you then have to register. When you try to register, nothing happens. Given up and deactivated them! Pity, they looked very useful.

  2. Hmm…. so did you try to contact Pawan Agrawal for support. He usually replies back to my emails in less than 24 hours. Doesn’t seem like you have much energy towards success to give up on something so easily. Chin up dude…

  3. Thank you, Garry for this post.

@FJN: Sometimes you receive the confirmation email instantly while sometimes it takes few hours to get it. Also, the confirmation email might have get into your junk/spam folder due to which you might not be able to register the plugin. If it’s not the case then please use another email to try again.

If you are still having the problem then please contact us from here:

  4. Hi. I take it back!!!!!
I tried it again yesterday and it worked. I think the original problem was with aweber because it said something about the account not being active so no email was sent at all.
@ Garry – I spend most of my spare time trying to make my blogs profitable so energy is definitely not my problem! I didn’t realize I would get a response from their support team so I moved on to other alternatives. I had actually installed the ad rotator, psychic search and the favicon plugins but couldn’t activate them. I will definitely be revisiting all of them.
PS . Am rather surprised that a small comment from lil ol’ me would warrant so much attention. Thanks guys.
    Incidentally, I’m not a dude, I’m a dudess!
    Have a great day.
