How To Automatically Tag Your WordPress Posts

with 5 comments

I have stopped using tags awhile ago. It’s not that they aren’t useful, I am simply too lazy to spend the extra time tagging my posts. If there was a way to do it automatically, I would probably do that. Luckily, for those who like to include tags in their posts, there is an automatic way of doing so.

I found a programmer who goes by the name of AngryByte, who create a brand new WordPress plugin called, TagGator. The program works very simple. “Lets say you have different post on which you talk about ‘wordpress’, and you wanted to add a new tag ‘wordpress’ to all of them without having to manually look them up add the tag to every and each post, you can simply install tagGator write ‘wordpress’ in the tag field and hit enter. All posts talking about wordpress and now tagged!” As you can see, it doesn’t get much easier than that. The plugin was approved for a listing in the WordPress Plugins Directory. You can download it here. I haven’t downloaded it because I am just too lazy.

After you download and install it, leave me a comment and let me know if your blog crashed. If your blog didn’t crash, then I may install it. (Joking!)
