How To Get Backlinks From Pages With High PageRank?
Here is some amazing and free desktop software that can help you get more backlinks to either your flagship blog or your niche blog that targets keywords in the search engines. Just a few days ago I asked everyone if they felt like backlinks were over-rated and I wasn’t too surprised to get a mixture of feedback. I think the point is that backlinks really aren’t needed if you want to make money online, but in doing so, you’re going to need to hit up the longtail rather than attempt to target prime keywords.
For me I like to do both and today I found an amazing program that I will start using to help me build up my backlinks to many of my niche blogs. The program is called Comment Kahuna. It is a totally free desktop application that you can use to search for blog posts related to a your keyword search term that have the highest PageRank. The program is really easy to use, and yes… amazingly it is 100% free. The developer simply wants you to opt into his mailing list which will give him the opportunity to tell you about newer products he develops as well as provide you with free updates on the existing ones.
Comment Kahuna is neat because I can choose to search for blog posts based on the relevancy of certain keywords that I am targeting. From there I can even filter my results by searching for only blogs that have the CommentLuv plugin installed, or even just search for blogs that are from WordPress or even TypePad. all in all, it is pretty neat and best of all, it is free. Special thanks to Mark Mason for telling me about this.
Comment Kahuna Features At A Glance
Here are some of the key features at a glance. Also be sure to watch the video I found on YouTube and see if name of the developer of this software rings any bells. If not, then be sure to watch the official video presentation of Comment Kahuna and once again, see if the developer’s name rings a bell.
Still not sure? Jason Potash, Marc Quarles, oh and Jason Katzenback (the voice of John Cow for the past 3 months). They are the owners of this product as well as additional products and such as Traffic Kahuna, Video Post Robot, Orwell Pro, Content Rover, Portal Feeder and more.

Three points Garry:
1. Can’t I accomplish the same thing Googling?
2. No matter how many disclaimers may claim it’s not a spam tool, it seems to me it will still be used by spammers for targeting “nofollow” blogs like mine.
3. Isn’t this just another gimmick for artificially gaming the SERPS?
I’m being spammed so much now that I’m considering putting “nofollow” back on my blog. It’s a shame, but as long as people are encouraged with this strategy it may end up killing the “nofollow” movement.
Cheers,
…BB
I think people will abuse anything good that is created. A car can go faster than the posted speed limit and it is the choice of the operator (driver) to either drive at the regulated speed or abuse the rule and drive faster.
I don’t see it as a yet another way to artificially game the SERPs anymore than what you already said in your first bullet point: “Can’t I accomplish the same thing Googling?”
It all depends on the operator of the software. This program gives you a great path to finding content that has been deemed worthy of having PageRank. What you do with it is up to you.
It appears that others have already asked this same question before, so much to the point where Jason has decided to address these concerns directly in the automatic email that gets sent to each new operator of this program:
I think that is very well said.
Yeah…I’ve been on their mailing list for a while because of this software, but I haven’t actually used it yet. I agree it’s a great piece of software and like anything, it can be abused. But, it can also be used, like google blog search, to find new blogs you didn’t know about before. Related to their niche…
It’s a great little tool to have in your collection.

Hi Garry,
What a coincidence. I actually stumbled across this software yesterday too. I used it for around 1 hour and found heaps of blogs that i didn’t know existed and were related to my blog.
I didn’t find many sites that were dofollow in my niche unfortunately
But lots with high PR and other emerging sites.
Fantastic bit of software. Another nice tool for the bloggers tool kit.

Oh man.. why must we blame the software.. Software are always created to do more good than harm.. Blame the person who use the software to do spam commenting.. Personally, this sofware is great if it is use correctly.. Blame the operator not the software..

Agreed Garry that a tool is only as good as its user. But who’s kidding who here. We all know the reason why most people would want to use this software.
Using your automobile analogy, that’s why we have laws governing rules of the road and why we have to pass an examination before we are allowed behind the wheel.
BUT unfortunately I don’t see near as much emphasis put on its ethical use as much as it’s value in gaming the SERPS. That’s not a message some want to hear.
Perhaps the users and creators of such software should keep this in mind, otherwise bloggers like myself will abandon the “nofollow” movement and ruin it for everybody.
That’s the point I’m trying to make and thanks for listening. Cheers!

Who is kidding who here? We should too also consider why the majority of bloggers purposely manipulate their WordPress installs to remove the rel=”nofollow” attribute from their comment.php file, either done manually or with the ease and convenience of using a simple WordPress plugin.
While it is easily agreed upon that majority of the Comment Kahuna users could indeed be perceived as people who use the software incorrectly or for the wrong reasons, lets not fail to consider that the same can easily be said for those who are part of this, “DOFOLLOW” movement.
Providing your readership with the incentive to leave a comment on your blog by agreeing to pass PageRank isn’t exactly kosher either.
Let’s provide an example, as I see you enjoy providing examples on your blog, so I’ll provide one for you here. I have a reader on my blog named Murray Peck — sorry Murray for using you here as an example — he has a blog related to being a soccer dad. The content that he produces on his blog absolutely has ZERO relevance to the content that I have published on my blog.
If I allowed his link to pass PageRank then I would be responsible for creating a connection between two sites that have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other. I produce content related to blogging tips and Murray produces content related to soccer. There is no relevance and allowing him a link on my blog doesn’t support the system in which makes Google so very amazing.
So with that said, my question to you is how is it that running a DOFOLLOW blog is deemed acceptable but using software that allows me to search for these DOFOLLOW blogs is not?
I’d consider that to be the pot calling the kettle black.
Also, if you need some good material to chew on, I invite you to read this, more so the comments. It’s a rather old post and I have learned a lot since then, but still should prove to be a good read:

Don’t worry Muhammad, soon hardware and software will unite and turn humans into slaves anyway… and then we’ll all have to scurry down and live near the Earth’s core and run from the machines we once controlled and operated, just like on The Matrix. lol
Thanks for highlighting this Garry, I probably won’t use it a whole lot, but it might be useful for finding other leading sources in the Tech and Gaming sector and trying out now and then.

I agree that all that what that software can do – can be acomplished by searching on Google.
You don`t need such kind of software.
