How To Get Totally Free and Unique Content For Your Blog
So the mystery remains… how can you make money online with a blog while not physically having to write the content yourself. For a long time there have been various software products bought and sold in places like ClickBank, or perhaps too from that crooked Internet marketer who also sells bottled water that came straight from the fountain of youth.
The truth of the matter is that there is no software or artificial intelligence that can successfully create content for your blog that will be unique, creative, logical, or simply good enough to work. Whether that may change in the near future, who knows, but for the time being, technology just isn’t there. Unique content can not be artifically created.
So, you may be wondering then, “How do I get free content to use for my blog? How do I get content that has never seen the light of day on a server? How can I get unique content that can actually help people? Most importantly, how can I get ALL THIS and not have to write a single word of it.
The solution is simple, It’s called tech support…
A few weeks ago, I was having trouble with my Linksys router. I messed it up and I just couldn’t get it configured correctly. I tried everything. Finally I contacted my ISP by filling out a trouble ticket. I took about 5 minutes to explain my problem and within a few hours, a technician responded back to me with a complete write up on how to fix my problem.
That write up consisted of 350 words. I followed his instructions and my problem was fixed. I later responded back and thanked him and told him how impressed I was with his response and I wanted to reward him with sharing his high quality advice with all my friends. I asked him if that would be ok and a few hours later he responded back saying that would be fine.
Do you see where I am going with this?
After a few minor edits and about 5 minutes of time invested into the material I had myself a high quality blog post. But here is the kicker… This blog post will get traffic and the reason is simple. My issue with the Linksys router was very common. However, doing a Google search for my issue didn’t return any quality results. So by me posting this article that was written by my ISP’s tech support, with permission, in return will end up helping others.
So next time you contact tech support, whether that be for your cell phone, microwave oven, television, cable Internet service, baby crib, etc… keep in mind that the information they share with you, Google and other search engines have absolutely ZERO record of it in their database. That my friends is free material for a blog post.
The trick is in getting permission to print. However, if you blow a little smoke up their ass, getting permission to print shouldn’t be difficult at all. Really, all you need to do is just make the person feel special, as if he is about to save the world with his written technical assistance.

Now that is one hell of a tip Garry!
Hell, I may end up breaking something on purpose every now and then just to get some free content! Actually something like that would go PERFECTLY with one of my domain names, pretty much anything that deals with computers….hmmmm. You have me thinking now.
I am not smart enough to think of something like that myself, however I am smart enough to read your blog

Well Mr. Jarret,
lets think out of the box here bud.
… who said that anything had to be broke?
Make up shit…
Do you think I really had an issue with my Linksys router?
Do you really believe that this is air that you are breathing?
Haha!
I had a suspicion that you may have fibbed your way a little bit.
Still a great tip though!

[...] and you should really get to know him and read his blog. He just recently posted a great tip about getting free content to write about. You need to check out the post he made, it will hit you like a ton of bricks, at least it did me. [...]
LOL Garry you’re bad !!!
I still the episode in the matrix, the second movie I think it is where they go meet the merovingian. I love his little diatribe, especially the swearing in french bit. (canuk here) So I found it very funny.
Either way solution marketing is a good thing to do and a good way to go.
People have all kinds of problems and have no solutions to them, so they hit google to “self diagnose”.
The smart ones will ask questions with credit card in one hand and mouse in the other and the victims will just sit there and say “I don’t know what to do”. LOL I could rant about that but wont.
I actually wouldn’t mind seeing that post, you wrote because well my router is a link sys and I have probs with it from time to time. Good thing my g/f is a sort of geek and has the patience to figure those tech issues out.
How’re things in daddy land dude !!!

I hope they don’t read this lol
Who is they?
Once again, awesome-helpful stuff.
You mind if I tweak it a bit and share it with my friends?
Whatever happened to just plain writing your own content? If your blog is really about something you have a real interest in, then coming up with content should really not be an issue.
However, if you are just looking for traffic, backlinks and a quick buck why would you want to waste time creating meaningful content?
Seems like we’re all in the second camp here.
How about a content generator? One that takes an existing article, consumes a web service for synonyms and replaces words in the content with their synonyms. Would anyone be interested in that?
I couldn’t agree with you more. However, there are hundreds of people who don’t. They seek out programs just as you mentioned. I have yet to see a auto content generator program that works well enough to replace manual writing.
People are still going to seek out solutions for this, so I just want to help them see some better alternatives towards escaping the chore of writing content on their site.
I personally enjoy writing; however many other people don’t. The story about the Linksys router is made up to illustrate the point I was making.
Baby and wife are doing just fine. They will be coming home tomorrow, so now my three other kids and myself are running around at the last minutes towards getting everything ready for them to come home.
Credit for the story is a wonderful thing.
Hahaha, slick tip, especially for tech style blogs! I would never think to do something like that…but I can see how it would be beneficial.

Ha ha,
Not sure I agree with the fibbing but none the less great idea… I guess it extends to any useful body of test sent to you.
Hey Garry,
That was good, switching from Linksys router problems into Wordpress blogging…I would have never thought of that!
Anyways, hope all the kids are home safe and doing well.
Cheers,
Dave
