How To Send Google SideWiki Comments To WordPress Instead of Blogger

How To Send Your Google SideWiki Comments To Your WordPress Blog from Garry Conn on Vimeo.

You might have noticed that I started posting Google SideWiki comments direct on the blog. You might already know that Google added the “send comments to Blogger” feature; however, for me that’s a problem because I don’t want to send my comments to Blogger. I want to publish them here on GarryConn.com.

Reason being is simple: I want what I call, “Indexable Ownership” of my content so that I can earn revenue from displaying contextual ads on the content I wrote. Indexable Ownership simply means that I am porting my content into a medium that is crawlable and indexable by search engines, which will soon receive free organic traffic from search result pages.

This is an article that I published on SeoHosting.com. I want to invite you to read it over there; however, included here is the video tutorial I made for the post on SeoHosting.com. Enjoy!

  • Google Sidewiki Now Available in All Web Browsers

Earlier last month Google introduced Google Sidewiki. Initially, I had a problem with it. Largely, because of two reasons. One, it was available only for FireFox and Internet Explorer via Google Toolbar. And two, users couldn’t syndicate their contributed content on a blog. A few weeks later, Google updated...
  • How To Move From Blogger To Self-Hosted WordPress

Loren Baker from Search Engine Journal wrote a very eye opening post this yesterday morning that outlined a few of the Blogger.com Terms of Services. If you have a chance to read this post, and you happen to also be a Blogger.com or Blogspot blogger, it may send chills down...
  • Understanding Google’s Enhanced Search Options Can Help You Increase Organic Search Traffic

In May of 2007, Google went live with an idea they’d been working on for six years. This was called Universal search. Fast forward two years, Google added more search options such as Google Wonder Wheel. And yesterday, Google enhanced search options again. This time though, things are really...
