How To Use Micro Niche Finder Correctly

Ian Parks from The Random Forest called in a question today and wanted some thoughts on how to utilize Micro Niche Finder. For those who don’t know about Micro Niche Finder, this is a program that will allow you to enter in various search terms into the program and it will return information that will let you know how much competition there is and how many monthly searches are received in Google for the terms. For a blogger, Internet Marketer, and publisher, this is a program sent down straight from the Heavens.

The problem with Micro Niche Finder is the fact that if put into the wrong hands, terrible results will be achieved. For me, I use Micro Niche Finder as a way to figure out the things that I can write about that will give me the most results from the time invested in writing content. I am a full time professional blogger and a very creative speed writer. You can put any object in front of me and I’ll produce a very attractive, appealing, entertaining, informative and useful post within minutes. I manage more blogs than I can count. For me, my business is in creating uniquely written content all from scratch and getting the most BANG out of it. Micro Niche Finder is a tool that effectively allows me to know what I should blog about and when I should blog about it.

If you use programs like Micro Niche Finder to build splogs or MFA pages (made for Adsense) then you will quickly discover a very poor performance from these sites. Google is very smart and they are very keen on sniffing out low quality sites or pages that are built for the purpose of running Adsense ads on them and or affiliate links. Google wants quality, Google wants content that is uniquely written and things that other people would feel naturally compelled to link to (Thus the philosophy behind PageRank).

If you utilize Micro Niche Finder like me, it can become a very useful tool in your business of blogging and producing content. If you choose to be shady, and use the program for the purpose of building junk pages and contributing to the noise of the blogosphere, you’ll get burned. It’s that simple.

If you choose to purchase Micro Niche Finder, I stand by my long term opinion and feel that it is a wonderful investment; however, I also stand strong on stating that if you don’t use the program in a way that will help you write content that actually educate, entertain or properly inform people, then it will be useless as its just a matter of time before Google catches up to you and shuns your bogus and bunk content.

The common misconception in this business is the escape of hard work. My ever becoming friend, Joel Comm, touched on this topic a yesterday! You have to work! The business of making money online is like any other job or business… you have to work and in many ways work twice as hard as you would normally work any other job. I work at times 16 hours per day and in many cases 7 days a week.

I’m looking forward to upgrade that’s on the horizon. It’s also a great tool to discover domains if you’re looking for ones that are keyword-rich.

I just purchased MNF. So far I am really liking it. Although they need to work on their documentation.

Hi Garry.

Thanks a million for the advice. I have been using MNF mainly to find post titles and have noticed a slight increase in search engine traffic. I was looking at creating adsense fuelled pages but realized very soon after that without original content people will be immediately turned off (well I am anyway!).

I am guessing it may be put to best use by opening some Niche Blogs and using it to target the best subjects to talk about.

My full time blogging adventure has only just started and I am really confused and overwhelmed with all the directions that I can take and what is ethical or harming to me.

I need to stay on the path of righteousness and avoid the quick buck options. Longetitvity and sustainability, I am guessing are the best bets.

Oh, I like your new header image and the images made me laugh… but the strap line is touching either side and needs to have a little space left and right.

I’ll be back soon.

Thanks for the purchases so far… WOW!!!!

@ Forest,

Don’t be overwhelmed. Let’s simplify the equation. You need a topic to write about, you then need to work towards getting traffic to your posts, your posts need to lead to products or services that are appealing to the people that visit your pages.

When first starting out, write about ten articles then focus heavy on promoting your blog. Don’t worry about writing more content for around a week. Just spend all your time promoting your blog. Drop helpful and thoughtful comments on other blogs. Email and IM all your friends and contacts about your new blog. Invite them to subscribe to your RSS feed. Invite them to join your mailing list. I use Aweber.com, this program is absolutely amazing for allowing you to start your own mailing list. Here is my Aweber.com referral link if you’re interested in checking it out. Ask a friend to Digg, Stumble, etc… Ask a friend to write a post about your blog, etc..

Looking at The Random Forest, I see that you write around one post per day. That is WAY too fast right now. You’re wasting all your jewels (content). Only post like one every other day or even maybe two per week and the use your extra time to schedule posts for future publication and promoting your blog. Word of mouth is very powerful. The more people that know about your blog, the better… if you place strong focus on building your RSS and Email List, you’ll see a huge difference in increasing your popularity.

Thanks Garry (again),

You are really making me rethink things. I convinced myslef that I have to postr every day and was getting obsessed with meeting my dead loines but… people are not reponding or visiting every day anyway so I guess you have hit on something I need to consider.

I want my blog to do too much at times and the fact that it isn’t niche is only any good for me developing ways for people to come to my random ramblings through search engines and have no reason to revisit.

I need to reassess my plans and as I have far less internet access this week (I’m in Vermont for a wedding) then I have plenty of time to think!

Actually today I nicely asked someone to Stumble my latest article and so far I have had over 200 visitors. Normally I get around 50 a day! Social bookmareking needs to be harnesed in these early days.

That’s a great question Forest, thanks for asking it, because I had wondered about using Wordpress Pages instead of Posts in the past, but have only done it a few times on a secondary site.

Thanks for your answers on this one Garry, as always, very interesting stuff!

I’ve bought MNF in the past and initially liked it. But after a while, I found the results were way off to what Google was showing. Instead now I use another software which is way better than MNF.

Perhaps this will happen first before we get a response back:

P.S. Is that a sidewinder attached to the pig’s belt???

Ah… Mark, Apparently when you were frozen, sharks with laser beams attached to their heads were put on the endangered species list. Come on now… throw me a bone!

Oh but wait!!!! I think we’ve got them in stock now!!!

Ahh, yes, how silly of me. I overlooked the mutated sea bass, especially ones with an ill-temper. Very nasty indeed. My bad.

Garry, hope ya don’t mind but I wanted to let others know that if you have Norton AntiVirus you may need to shut it off when using MNF. But it does work great! I love this.

We can always count on HM3 to keep us on topic. What a NyQuil buzz kill. Sheesh….

:)

I do remember you having trouble using Micro Niche Finder when you had Norton AntiVirus installed. You should not be forced to turn off your AntiVirus protection to get the program to work. As this my be a temporary solution, I don’t recommend it to be a full time one by any means. You need to contact James Jones for support and come to a solution.

Personally for me, I can’t stand Norton AntiVirus software. It is absolutely the largest, most dead weight, clunky software I have ever worked it. The minute you install it, it can make the fastest computer to start performing just shy of what could be expected from a hypoglycemic who’s gotten their blood sugar levels down to zero.

Not being bias, but I’d consider getting different AntiVirus software. Of course I am making a mountain out of a mole hill, in Norton, I believe that it detects that MNF is doing things stranger things than other programs and simply needs your input on how to deal with it.

I still think Micro Niche Finder is a great little program, am looking forward to the improvements in the next version too.

Also, don’t get me started on Norton, one of the worst pieces of software you can put on a computer - if you want a slower computer, just buy a lower spec rather than install Norton! ;)

What is your anti-virus of choice guys? I’m a big advocate of NOD32 - small footprint and gets a lot of updates!

@ HM3,

Don’t PM about your Norton issues!!! LOL!!!!! PM BestBuy or Bill Gates. :)

@ Zath,

I think the best anti virus software is MAC OS, but I can’t quite justify purchasing a new computer with the new addition to our family coming soon. :)
