How To Use Twitter To Get Your Voice Heard by The Man

How many times have you ordered @mcdonalds drive thru and they screwed up your order? Well, now there’s a solution to your problem… Now, there’s a way to voice your opinion direct to The Man… It’s called Twitter.

Using 140 characters or less, vent your frustrations, complain, and post it online so that thousands of people can see it, and then within minutes to a few hours you can get a solution direct from The Man!

So, the next time someone says, “What’s the purpose of Twitter?” You can tell them, that Twitter is a place you can go to stick it to the man and vent your frustrations, or complain about shitty customer service direct to the CEO’s of all the companies. hehe

Ok… all kidding aside, Twitter does seem to be a great way to get results when you have a problem.

I sent an @disqus and explained to them that their comment plugin is passing way too much spam and that I was going to start using @IntenseDebate instead.  A few hours later, I got a response from @disqus and they said that they made adjustments and to try their plugin again.

During that same hour I got a response from @IntenseDebate personally THANKING ME for trying their plugin and inviting me to contact them with any support needs.

Earlier, I was having issues with @twfeed and they offered a direct response within a few hours as well.

Twitter Direct Responses

So next time you find a pube in your pizza @pizzahut or a booger in your burger @burgerking or a turd in your taco @tacobell, send them a message on Twitter and not only will you feel a little better about the situation, but also a few hours later you’ll get nice response from a powerful person who seem like they’re eager to help.
