I Am Looking For Site Advertisers
As you may know, I have a banner advertisement system on my blog. I have two locations where I display banners. The first location is on my header and the second location is on my sidebar.
Both locations are displayed on every page within my entire blog.
On my header I display the 468×60 size banner ads. On the sidebar I display the 300×250 size banner ads. Both spots have a maximum of four rotated advertisement slots.
The cost to advertise on the header is $69.95 / month and the cost to advertise the bigger ad on the sidebar is $99.95 / month.
During the month of December, I had a total of two advertisers. Both of their contracts are about to expire. If you are looking for a very effective and affordable way to advertise your blog, business, product or service, I am looking for site sponsors.
Here is the break down on the stats from last month.
Both of my advertisers purchased a 468×60 advertisement slot.
- Advertiser #1 had a total of 372 clicks which averaged out to $0.18 per click.
- Advertiser #2 had a total of 330 clicks which averaged out to $0.21 per click.
One of my two advertisers purchased a 300×250 advertisement slot.
- Advertiser #1 had a total of 572 clicks which averaged out to $0.17 per click.
My blog caters to readers who want to learn how to make money online. According to Google AdWords Keyword Tool, the cost to effectively advertise your business, blog, product or service will cost you $2.97 per click.
Here is a screen shot below:
As you can see, the average cost to effectively advertise on my blog is between $0.17 to $0.21 per click which gives you a savings of over 94% of the price when compared to Google AdWords. Granted, my volume is much lower compared to what you can receive in Google AdWords; however, why pay $2.97 per click when you can get a guaranteed few hundred clicks for only a fraction of the price?
My banner advertisement program is perfect for Internet marketers who need to promote their landing pages and product launches. It is perfect for new bloggers who need immediate traffic and RSS subscribers after a blog launch. My banner advertisement program is perfect choice for any advertiser within the make money online niche who is looking for cheap yet highly effective advertising.
Order a banner advertisement spot today. Simply process a payment using www.paypal.com sent to garryconn@gmail.com in the amount of $69.95 for a 468×60 or $99.95 for a 300×250. Then email me your banner to the same email address and let me know the URL the banner should link to. If you have any questions you can contact me at the same email address as well or leave a comment below.

Garry — I am surprised that you cannot find an affiliate program that pays you more than $70/month in sales commissions. If you are getting 300 clicks, and convert at 1%, you are looking at 3 sales. That should net you more than $70 for any decent program.
VERY VERY nice and effective advertising opportunities on here, Garry. Although I never really pay to advertise on sites, I’m sure those spots would be taken in no time.

Garry, Let me begin by saying I really enjoy reading your posts. Thanks for putting this info out there for us all to see.
If I were looking to advertise I think one number I would like to have is how many subscribers and visitors does this site average in a month? The number of clicks your current advertisers get might differ from mine.
And Mark makes a great point – would you stand to make more with an affiliate program you trust and believe in?
Garry, Let me begin by saying that I really enjoy reading your blog and am glad to have found you. I agree with Mark Mason’s take on this – would you be able to make money (and have more control) if you did an affiliate program of some kind?
And if you choose to go after advertisers, I would think that the number of visitors in a month and the number of subscribers you have would be important information to me as an advertiser. My ad will differ from those that you already have posted so I may pull the same numbers, may do better, may do worse. I do like that you have brought out the benefit of saving a lot of money as compared to adword costs though – nice touch.
Wow nice breakdown man, good job.
I am intrigued by one thing though. I believe you are the only one I’ve seen that charges more for the sidebar then the header…what do you know that others don’t?
I am with Mark on this one. Seems like you should be able to put an affiliate banner in your header and make more than $70 per month. Of course, it is nice to know that you have that much coming in for sure instead of just hoping you make sales.
The problem I have with affiliate programs is that I have to review them myself prior to promoting them. When I sell ad space, the items being displayed are simply that, advertisements. I hold no opinion about them. My blog just serves as a portal and a medium where advertisers can connect with readers and visitors.
As far as the maximum income potential we’re looking at $680 / month for the combined ad spots available. With that, I have opened up some new spots directly along the sides of the comments. We’ll just see how things go. The thing is, I haven’t really actively promoted my advertisement services very heavily and that is something I think I’ll do more in 2009.
