Hi Jonathan,

Yes indeed… Yahoo blew me off. Which is stupid. Even though they say my date of birth is private, by default it shows my age in many places such as my profile page. So with me being represented FALSELY as 21 years old, I am going to attract groups of people within that age group rather that people within my own age group.

To be honest, I am actually quite pissed off about this situation. Yahoo knows about this problem and they also know about this post too and they chose to blow me off. I won’t let it bother me too bad, but it just goes to show you what Yahoo! is willing to do to keep a customer.

It’s because they are to friggin lazy to run a SQL query like:
UPDATE users SET birthday = ‘the right one’ WHERE user = ‘Gary Conn’;

Seriously, I feel your pain. This kind of stupidity really gets on my nerves. I’d stick with Google just because of the headache.

Hah. It's funny how a minor detail like this gets overlooked. Now your new birthdate is part of your "permanent record".
