If Neil Armstrong Can Do It, You Can Do It

In 13 months will mark the 40th year anniversary of when Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon. Think about this for a minute. I mean seriously, seriously, sit back in your computer chair for a minute and think about this. Consider what it would take for you to repeat this moment in history. What would you do? How would you do it? How would you make it possible for a man to fly to the moon? Almost 40 years ago, NASA was successful in creating a technology and a vessel that carried men from the Earth to the Moon.

Today, we live in a world where people commonly say, “Oh, I can’t do that.” or, “Something prevented me from doing it!” or, “I was going to, but something else came up.” or, “I wasn’t lucky enough to have the chance.” or, “It really doesn’t matter all that much.” or, “But they have more money than me.” or, “It wasn’t fair so I just quit.” Almost 40 years ago there was a team faced with a huge challenge and a goal. Failing was never an option and quitting wasn’t a word in their dictionary.

If this can happen, if Neil Armstrong can take his first step on the Moon almost 40 years ago, then you can achieve anything. I don’t care what your goal is, whether you want to find success in making money online, or success in being the fastest tree climber. It doesn’t matter what your goals are. What matters most is in seeing to it that you achieve them.

People say that ideas come a dime a dozen. Meaning that ideas aren’t worth anything unless they are pursued. The real problem why ideas aren’t carried out is because commonly most people are indebted to excuses. If a man can walk on the moon almost 40 years ago, you can do just about anything. The only thing preventing it from happening is yourself. Spend less time selling yourself on a reason why you can’t do it and more time selling yourself on multiple reasons why you can.
