Is Your Site Listed In The Make Money Online Search Engine?
Many of you guys know that I get around quite a bit within the make money online niche. So many of you guys have been surprised with how much I know. Not so much as “knowing the business of making money online”, which I do… but more so with “what is going on within the niche.”
At any rate, one of the most common things I hear people complaining about is Google and how their site stacks up against the competition. For those who don’t know, Google provides free access to their search technology by allowing end users the ability to create their own custom search engine. This is called Google CSE. With this, anyone can create and manage their own search engine. If you have an interest in Dogs and Cats, you can easily create and manage your very own Dogs and Cats search engine.
The same is true with Make Money Online. I have started what I am calling, The Make Money Online Search Engine. It is powered with Google CSE technology; however, I am in TOTAL control with which sites get included. My goal is to create a search engine that allows people to easily find information that helps them with their journey of learning how to make money online.
With that said, The Make Money Online Search Engine will do just that. The reason being, again… because I am in TOTAL control of what gets included into the search index.
I am in the early stages of building this search engine; however, it is VERY MUCH LIVE right now. You can try it out for yourself, I have the search bar located on the top right side of my header and it is also displayed on my home page.
Why Am I Doing This?
Because it is totally needed. There are thousands of people who WANT to make money online and then there is an equal amount — if not more — people who NEED to make money online. Many people’s lives depend on their success of learning how to make money online.
I am doing this, because I want to provide people with a resource where they can simply enter in a search term and have returned to them results that will help them in their education of learning the business of making money online.
How Can I Do This?
Simple. Google indexes your content, your blog posts, your web pages, and even very strange query string pages on your site. Many people often wonder, “how can I get my content indexed in Google?” However, the truth to the matter is quite opposite. It is actually MORE DIFFICULT to prevent Google from indexing your content. Having your content indexed and having it actually appear in the search results are two different things. I can create a custom search engine that helps people find accurate information about making money online simply for the fact that Google has a record of everything!
My job as the owner of this custom search engine is in managing it, which by the way, isn’t very difficult at all. I have the option of including sites into The Make Money Online Search Engine. With that, I also have the option of exclusing many sections and pages from being included into the search engine. When I approve a site for inclusion, I hand pick the content that I want visible in the results. In most cases, I disalllow category sections, tag sections, static pages that pitch eBooks and various other digital products that I disapprove of, and many more sections of blogs and sites that fail to help people learn how to make money online.
So What’s Next?
Well, a few things are going to happen. Right now, The Make Money Online Search Engine is hosted on my personal blog while I continue to build and develop it. In a few days, I will be moving the search engine to a permanent domain name. At that time, I will reveal to you what the domain name is and you can check it out for yourself. By the way, when I do reveal the domain name, you will be shocked with the name I have chosen. The site will probably have a blog and some added documentation and a few pages; however, for the most part, this site will be nothing more than a pure search engine that will deliver very accurate and helpful results, all related to making money online.
How Do Can You Get Your Site Included?
Getting your site included isn’t very difficult at all. If you have a high quality blog or web site that helps people learn how to make money online, then that is what I am looking for. Also, I want to stress that it does NOT matter how popular your blog or web site is, or there lack of. I don’t care if your blog is a PR4 or PR5 or even a PR0. That is not what I am looking for. When I choose to include a site, I am looking at the quality of the information you are providing people in their journey of learning how to make money online.
During my development stages, I am going to be manually adding a blend of blogs and sites for inclusion. I am already doing this right now. However, if you feel that you have a blog or web site that you’d like to see included — whether it is your own or a friend’s — you should use the comment form below and tell me about it. I will promise to review the site you suggest, but I can not promise that it will be included. Also, I can’t guarantee that I will be able to respond to your comment directly.
Suggestions On How To Get Your Site Included:
If you would like to increase the odds of having your blog or web site included here are a few suggestions that will help you.
- Make sure that your blog actually helps people learn how to make money online. There are many different ways to make money online and many different programs available. It is important to that your blog or web site that provides helpful information that actually helps people learn.
- Your blog or web site should provide readers and visitors with unique and high quality information. You should not syndicate, republish or distribute other already published content.
- It does not matter how popular your blog or web site is, or lack there of. Popularity does not hold weight towards consideration into the custom Make Money Online Search Engine. We look for quality in the content rather than how popular your blog or web site is.
- The custom Make Money Online Search Engine is an excellent way for you to increase traffic and find people who will read your blog or web site. Take your time and prepare your blog or web site prior to submitting your site for inclusion. If your blog or web site get included, it will be a huge win for your venture.
What Will The Future Hold For The Make Money Online Search Engine?
Once the search engine is built and I have the web site launched, I am going to provide end users with the ability to include the search bar on their web sites and blogs. If people really care about helping others learn how to make money online, then they will be eager to achieve this by also providing their readers with external resources. This takes place many times in blog posts already. When the search bar is installed in multiple blogs and sites, it will actually become a very nice source of traffic for your own site. If the search bar is installed on 100 blogs or web sites, consider how much additional traffic your various pages will receive.
Much more to come and I will keep you posted with the development. I actually intend to have the search engine completely developed and live on its permanent domain in less than a week. From that point on, there will be an online submission form for publishers who would like to have their site included.

That is OK that you don’t have a blog related to making money online. Keep in mind that this CSE is made for my readers, such as yourself, so that I can provide you with an excellent resource that will help you continue down your path of learning. This includes providing my own content in the search engine as well as other sources that I fell will help you.

I can’t help you too much with Ranking #1 in Google for make money online terms as you said, the competition is very strong. The older your blog ages and the more people you attract to your blog and the more organic links you get to your blog, sections and posts the higher you’ll climb the ladder.
With that said, sites included in my CSE those traditional rules don’t quite apply. Well, they do, but their not as magnified as competition is much lower and the volume of sites included in my CSE is much less than the main Google Index.
With that said, I am looking at your blog for inclusion.

It seems that you wrote a review for a product called Niche Inspector. I never heard of this before. I wasn’t able to learn more about the product because you didn’t provide me with a hyperlink in the post. I am sure that this is an affiliate based product of some kind, which that is fine. There is nothing wrong with selling software or other products that offer an incentive.
The issue that I commonly have is when publishers write reviews about affiliate based products that fail to help people. Many publishers will write product reviews with the aim of making money while not helping people.
So with this product, The Niche Inspector, do you own it? How does it compare to Micro Niche Finder or Keyword Elite? Why should someone purchase this product over using free services such as Google AdWords Keyword Tool? Does this product really help you to make money online?
On that note, you do have a blog that represents you as someone who is successful in the business of making money online? Is that so? Are you completely self-employed? Have you made a successful business for yourself online? If so, then that is great. If not, then you have no business running a blog that attempts to teach people how to make money online.
These among many other attributes are things that I look for prior to including sites into my CSE. In many cases, I can find this information out on my own without even having to ask the publisher.
As far as the number of sites included in my CSE, I am not concerned with that one bit. I already have a very nice blend of sites included. At this moment, I have 11 sites included and that is well enough to provide a wonderful resource in providing people with information on how to make money online.
With that said, I am very open minded and accepting of new beginners, more so that most people and I am eager to include under dogs in my CSE. Once again though, it is not about who has the most popular blog, it is more about who provides the best information.
On that note, I want to communicate to anyone reading this that in part of building my CSE I may only include a few SELECT PAGES from a web site, rather than include the ENTIRE site.
For example, assuming that I felt like this page: http://www.howtomakemoneysite.com/find-a-great-niche-to-market-with-niche-inspector/ was a page that was helpful for people, I can choose to include ONLY that page and not any other page on the HOWTOMAKEMONEYSITE.COM domain.
So having that said, if there are people who feel like they have a POST that should be included, rather than the entire BLOG or SITE, feel free to request to have that included.

Is it possible for me to included in the list Garry?
I do have a CSE in my blog but I’m still new with that, I just created 1 and not sure whether the search engine is working. When a people use the CSE to search something and they click on the search result site, that will be considered as 1 click right? (It’s what I know with the old version CSE, not sure whether the new 1 will be the same.)
Make Money Site : I do agree with what Garry said, it’s really hard to compete the term “Make Money Online”, if you did do some surveys on the keyword searches and competitors, it’s absolutely high!
Garry, let’s say I have a new site and also talk about Make Money Online, how to beat into the first page if all the established MMO site have been starting for few years already? Is it possible to beat them, or no? Because our site is new and our ages never beat them.
(This is an example because I’m not optimize for the term “Make Money Online” but “Make Money Blogging”, so far I only can stand at page 2 or 3 , maybe my site is still new.
I think this is a great idea Garry and there wouldn’t be any better person to determine the quality of content that would go into a search engine about making money online then you.
I think that some of your readers should read this article and apply this method to their own niches and capitalize on the search traffic as well. I have a CSE setup on my personal blog as well as some other niche sites of mine. Being able to use Google’s search engine is a really great feature not to mention that you can monetize the search results pages as well.
In fact I just had a person visit a site of mine today, use the search and click on an ad.
In due time, I will pay the $100 bucks to remove the ads. In the mean time, they are there and so I have them linked up to my AdSense account. Depending on how well that goes, I may keep the ads, but the problem with that, is many people who will be using my CSE already have a good idea of what AdSense is and pretty much by default bypass them.
Ah true with the make money online niche but it could work very well for other niches.

I’ve been in the wealth creation education market since 1999, am a passionate speaker on the topic and have built my own business entirely using internet marketing techniques – I just love it!
While my blog is not exclusively about making money online, it does teach people how to make money in what we call the “Four Lanes Of The Wealth Highway” which are business, the internet, property investing and the stockmarket.

Excellent idea, Garry. While my blog isn’t an MMO blog, there’s a lot of info there that I researched, not to mention the DF list I keep adding to.
