Kids Grow Up Fast
Today it’s back to school! My oldest daughter started her first day of 10th grade and my son started his first day of 4th grade. Wow… kids really do grow up fast. Today marks the first day in months where Jaymie and I are the only ones in the house. I am not used to this… It’s really quiet in the house! I don’t hear doors opening and slamming shut. I don’t hear any screaming or yelling. It’s pretty funny to witness Jaymie’s reaction to all this. She has spent most of her morning just wandering around the house in a search for her brother and sister. It sure is wild to see how fast kids grow up. Next thing I know, my youngest daughter will be in 10th grade.

Yep, and now she’ll want LOTS of playtime…that is unless she’s one of those that like her OWN time. My little girl is a play-by-myself type person.
Makes me sad sometimes, other times not so much. It’s crazy how fast they grow up, I still recall every detail leading up to my son’s (1st child)birth. Granted can’t recall much after that but I can recall all those births. lol. Mine will be in his last year before junior high, I hadn’t even realized that until someone in my family asked how I felt towards it. Gee thanks. Hope ya make it through the day. Wait until they get home, should be VERY soon. Trust me you’ll hear them.
She is a crazy little girl. She enjoys her me time but also enjoys plenty of play time with dad. Overall she is a pretty balanced toddler. Parenting doesn’t come with instructions and also every child is different… but it does help that this is the third child. No manual that comes with kids, just previous experience!
Aw, so true! She’s so cute. Enjoy each stage of each kid because we’ll never get them back at that age. Next we’ll be enjoying grandkids
We need to remember details of each of our kids’ growing years so we have enough stories to tell their own children about them. I remember how my kids used to love asking my Mom and Dad about how I was as a child.

It is amazing how quickly they grow up. I am still having a hard time believing my oldest is 13.
