Make Money Online by Creating WordPress Landing Pages

In this article I am going to show you how to make money online by creating your own landing pages using your WordPress blog. These pages increase the odds of you make you money online because you can direct traffic to these pages using your own blog traffic.

All you need to do is pick some ad campaigns that you think will work for you blog, write nice articles about the campaigns that you want to promote and instead of making a blog post with your article, simply publish the article in your special landing page. From there, all you need to do is use UniqueBlogDesign.com’s brand new Affiliate Theme. Here is a video presentation of Affiliate Theme:

The Affiliate Theme gives you the ability to create amazing and very powerful WordPress landing pages for marketing and promoting affiliate based products and services. It is the number one choice and method for top affiliate marketers in the industry.

The reason why you want to build your own landing pages using Affiliate Theme is because the default landing pages that come with WordPress really aren’t all that good. If you can build a better page and write better content, you can increase your odds of getting the desired call to action. With that said, as a special bonus offer, if you purchase any of the Affiliate Theme versions, send me an email to garryconn@gmail.com with a copy of your sales receipt and I will send you my exclusive premium grade eBook titled, The Affiliate Marketers Handbook.

This eBook will teach you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing. I will show you how to get traffic to your landing pages, I will show you how to take advantage of all the social networks, and I will show you how to write excellent content. You can get a free copy of The Affiliate Marketers Handbook when you order Affiliate Theme. The these two products go hand in hand with making affiliate marketing easy and highly successful.

I didn’t know that about Pepperjam. I haven’t logged into my Pepperjam account in a few weeks and I tried tonight, but forgot my password. I have been waiting on their system to resend me my password by email. For some reason, I haven’t received it yet. As soon as I can log back into my account, I will be sure to check this out. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Garry thanks for this landing page information. I have been setting up niche sites to take care of the landing page situation, but this is a much better way and you don’t have to buy a domain name for it.

Looking forward to your further instruction on landing pages.

Very nice tip here, buddy. When I’ve modified pages before (not necessarily page.php) I’ve always been confused about how to make up for something like a removed sidebar. Doesn’t sound so bad now. :)

There is more of a proper way with dealing with that. But doing the style=”width:###px;” works just as well. Granted, one would want to do something in the actual style.css file. But, I didn’t want to confuse anyone and feel that this should be just as fine for a simple landing page. ;)

hey garry one suggestion the background image tile (G’s) of your site is distracting, you can ask others also if you want. i would say try placing something else or a pattern.

Hi Anand,

Thanks for the feedback. I can’t have you retaining 100% of the information you read on my blog. How about just making the (G’s) smaller?

Good Tip Garry, I will throw one more thing in the mix, once you define a page as a Page Template, the rest of the page does not have to be related to Wordpress at all.

You can create a page with any software you want, as long as it has the first section at the top defining it as a Page Template.

You could take an existing Sales Page and convert it with a quick cut and paste.

Ah… you should be familiar with this scenario. I know that I have had trouble with it most of my life. It’s called being way ahead of the times. Meaning, despite the fact that you or myself may know a lot about how to break err, “Tweak Things”, at times it seems there isn’t a global demand for our skillsets. This for sure was illustrated last year with the development of DynoPage. ;)

very nice post Garry, I see why its on the front page of google for the term wordpress landing pages. I am actually very excited about getting into landing pages and starting into PPC properly. I got a kick as dot net name for what I am doing so my quality score should be sweet too. I was looking at a theme called ignite which is a wordpress landing page style of site. It looks very nice, 49 bucks though but still very nice.

Hi Collin,

There is nothing wrong with investing money into things that will make you money. For me though, I am pretty tight with my money. So knowing me… I would probably try to make my own, or modify one that is very close. But you know what they say, “Time is money” and I’d probably be better off just buying the theme from the get go. ;)

On a sad note, yes… indeed, much of what I do depends on the AdSense gods… North American Indians do the rain dance and pray for rain to help grow their crop, and I do the AdSense Dance at the base of my driveway near the mailbox and pray for the mailman to bring me my check. lol!!!

Looks like the theme has a little sprinkle of cinnamon and CSS. We could easily take our existing Park Page that we sell for $29.95 and perhaps offer a Cinnamon Toast Crunchy design with it for like $39.95.

Well Garry, what I am looking for is a theme I can use what ever plug ins I want on, just like my blog but looks like a landing page. That theme you can change the colors on, I think there is 4 styles. But that is what I am looking for, not a plug in I guess but a real live theme.

Is that what yours is?

Let me see if I can clarify this. Seems we are talking backwards.

The Niche Doctor Park Page Plugin is just that a plugin.

You pick whatever theme you want your blog to be in, just like you were going to develop it. You install this plugin, it has a couple different options on how you want it to work, but the general principle is it lets you have a Park Page while you are working on your blog.

When you are ready to go live with your blog, just turn off the Park Page, thats it.

I was looking at that same theme before, and could not figure out why I would want a Parked Theme. That means when I go live I either change the whole theme, or use a Park Theme for a Live blog.

Collin - Feed Flare Wrote a Comment:

Ok I understand what your talking about now.

I am getting into PPC Marketing, and that requires a good landing page for a few reasons. 1- it helps conversations 2- increases your quality score so you pay less per click.

now, with that said. Most blogs do not have high conversations when clean landing pages do. So by me using or wanting to use a wordpress theme that looks like ignite I can get search engines rankings for search traffic as well as use the same site for PPC campaigns. Kill two birds with one stone. My site name has a good amount of search traffic looking for it every month so why not build a site that converts high in both area’s – search and ppc

I want to remove the look of a blog, basically. But keep using wordpress as I know how to use it and its great for seo. I am not sure, if I can use ignite as a perminate site or not. I have emailed the guy asking if the coding is done in suck a way where you can use it as a normal site.

See, most everyone thinks of wordpress just for blogging, it does not have to be that way.

Your plug in would work great for some of my other sites that are just sitting there doing jack all because I don’t have the time to build them yet.

Does this make sense?

SNEAK PEEK

Talking to Garry in email, we believe there is some confusion on the Park Page issue, so, I just changed the video on the Niche Doctor Blog to show the WHOLE 13 minute video instead of just a clip.

Go to blog.the-niche-doctor.com and you can watch the video (post is The Niche Doctor Park Page WordPress Plugin) and see exactly what it does, and how it works.

Hope this helps.

Ok that video does explain a lot better what your plug in does. That video should also help sell more plug ins too :) but for what I want to build, it does not look like what I want it to do. I promise, once I get my site built I will let you know about it so you can see it and then your going to see what I was talking about.

Your plug in does honestly look like a very good idea and I will more then likely grab it in the next week (to busy right now to put the time into it) and do that with some of my sites that are just sitting there doing jack all.

But, I try to always be open to ideas.

Nope… and the great thing is that you can use it for just about any business, product or service that you’d like to promote. Also, as you continue to seed links and point to these pages, they in return will get more powerful and eventually rank pretty darn good for some competitive keyword phases in the search engines.

Great job Garry,

as a veteran of 10 years in Internet marketing, any way that I can improve conversion is worth looking harder at. Too many newbies get hung up on big traffic, and focus too little on conversion, really.

I have never tried Alink, but I did buy WPAffiliate Pro last week for $97. I will be refunding this purchase, as I found WPMarketer to be a superior plug with more capability, and it is free, which is a bonus.

I don’t mind spending a few bucks on a plugin when it is the best of the best, but when a free one is better, well you know how it goes.

I have to keep things as streamlined as possible. I have 12 blogs to run, and I am on the Affiliate Marketing seminar circuit speaking throughout the year. The more automated, and the better tracked my efforts are, the less time I have to take in the long run.

I normally use a third party to author my ad copy and landing pages, but I find they never do as good a job as we can do ourselves.

Great blog, Garry!

Cheers,

Ron Davies
