The plugin has some code that will detect what kind of user is visiting your blog. It its a mobile user the program redirects to your special Mobile WordPress Theme… so from there, you can use the special Google AdSense for Mobile Content Ad units instead.

Good idea to push cellphone users to a lightweight version of a blog and then give them AdSense ads for mobile content.

But I use AdSense Deluxe plugin for managing AdSense ads within my WordPress. I put one ad unit within the post text. In the mobile version of the blog this unit is being shown. How do I turn it off?

Well it all depends on how you are using the ads. If you are making pages for the purpose of providing people relevant information on things they have an interest in learning more about or eventually buying, then users would be expected to see ads. Again that is why they found your page in the first place.

If you’re talking about force feeding Google Ads on your personal blog that caters to people like me, then yeah for sure ads would suck, totally!

However, if you’re running a Blackberry software application review blog and provided ads there, it would totally compliment as well as enhance the user’s experience.

You are very welcome. I would say it does give you an advantage. I am a blogger and I use my Blackberry. So if I am surfing the net using my Blackberry or Mobile device such as a Razor which my wife owns, I'd say that many people are doing it too. WP Mobile Edition looks hot on a Razor. Plus, if you are half way savvy with creating or customizing WordPress themes, the standard WordPress theme included with this plugin is very customizable. I submitted this story into Sphinn if anyone would like to read my follow up and vote. I have about another 200 words or so on the topic over at Sphinn.

Wow, I’ve never really looked into placing ads on mobile pages, but I guess people really do click on them. I actually really hate ads and since the cell phone is so small, I would most definitely hate seeing the ads on pages I browse through my phone. I guess it’s only me, but making money is making money
