Make Money Online with Bidvertiser

According to a recent poll I did, over 50% of my readers are not members of Bidvertiser. I was actually quite surprised to see that. Bidvertiser is a great program that gives you more options and diversity for your website. It breaks up the monotony of having just Google Adsense on your site and allows for different level of having control on displaying advertisements on your site. Here is a screen shot, you can click on it to view it full size:

Look closely at each section as the content and ads have been blended:

  1. The red circled section is Google Adsense.
  2. The purple circled section is my most recent posts list.
  3. The green circled section is Bidvertiser.

Is is hard to spot out the ads from the content? It should be and the reason why is because I have truly incorporated Bidvertiser as part of my system for helping provide readers with the service I offer on this particular site. Here is another screen shot:

All the circled sections in the screen shot are money makers for me. Even the yellow highlighted links make money. Bidvertiser is yet another program that gives me the ability to offer my visitors more options.

Garry, I Tried Bidvertiser… They SUCK!

Why do you say that?

Problem: Most people that feel like Bidvertiser sucks is because the advertisements on their site are not relevant to the content.

Solution: Write content that is relevant to the ads.

When you’re looking for a job in the classified ads section of your local paper, a lot of the times, you’ll inquire about a job listing not because it is something that you want to do, but rather because it is something that pays well.

Bidvertiser pays well… very well. If you want to make money online, I would advice that you sign up for Bidvertiser and see what kind of advertiser base they have and start producing content that is relevant to their ads. If you do that, you’ll make quite a bit of money.

Bidvertiser Gives You Control

Bidvertiser gives you all the tools to setup and display the advertisements exactly the way you want them to appear on your website. A very unique and effective system to Bidvertiser is the fact that users have the ability to create and design their own templates.

Good day Garry

Bidvertiser sucks!! Well they have left me feeling that way because I could never get their ads to match my content.

I will admit that it never crossed my mind to create a site and write content to go with the ads. Instead I just pretty much dropped them from my sites.

I have a couple of domains sitting here waiting from me to do something with them. I guess this is as good a time as any to give writing for the ads a try.

Thanks again Garry.

Thanks Gary. I had emailed Bidvertiser to ask if they allowed their ads to run with Adsense on sites. Your screenshot answers my question and gives food for thought.

I will say this, I made more with Bidvertiser in 8 clicks then I did with Adsense in 20 clicks. I just need more clickers :)

I never made much money from them but maybe I’ll try again in the future.

@ James,

You’re funny. The ads for me were relevant for deal stuff… but even still, it’s kind of hit or miss. Granted there is no one out there other than Google who can produce superior ads. YPN would be in second place.

@ The Monetizer,

Drop me a comment or email and let me know what they say. Better yet, if you get a chance drop Google a bomb and ask the same question. Please don’t use me as the word of God. I skimmed both site’s TOS and from what I could read, it seemed ok. So, that doesn’t make it true. Since the time of writing this article, I have taken Bidvertiser down from the site shown above for unrelated reasons.

@ Collin,

That is exactly what attracted me to Bidvertiser. James said in the above comment, “it never crossed my mind to create a site and write content to go with the ads”, if you do that then eventually when you do start to gain traffic from the search engines, your CTR should be pretty decent.

@ HM3,

I never did too much in the past too, but after running Bidvertiser for a week on a site of mine, the results weren’t too bad. Definitely, something I felt that shouldn’t be ignored.

I use Bidvertiser for almost 2 yars now and I really love them. (Because they accept my PTR programs ;) ) and really - they have very low $10 payout by PayPal - I too wonder why so many online money-makers don’t use Bidvertiser yet!

Well, I’m not going to say Bidvertiser sucks, but I do have a problem with their relevancy. I suppose it could be argued that my content was hard to find something relevant ad-wise on MAMD. But even on my golf blog I got absolutely no clicks whatsoever.

Sometimes the it’s the merchants fault. When I used Bidvertiser there was a time when an ad for software was the item displayed, but the photo? Two bikini-clad babes in a warm embrace. Excuse me!!! I don’t mind creativity for being noticed, but come Mr. Software Merchant Guy, do you have to stoop so low?

Regarding your tip about writing FOR an ad, I can see where that would work on blogs geared toward products. I’d prefer for them to follow me, but you have a good point there.

I’m looking at replacing adsense on my site that used PPP for monetization so think i’ll look into this. Again Garry… another great heads up.

Nice website Garry. Sorry to disagree but Bidvertiser is not good at all, more like fraudulent I’d say. They make you think they pay high rates, you see you make $1 with 4 clicks, and you go ohh great, that’s potential, but after a few days you compare and check and you realize they don’t count lots of impressions and clicks, you can have it for months and you will not even reach $10 with hundred of thousands of visits. The tampering is obvious. Unless you can match YOUR content to THEIR ads, and then yes you’ll get a few more clicks. But if you make it to the minimum and are entitled to receive a check, they will probably not even pay you, they will find some excuse. And if you manage multiple accounts of different companies, they BAN them all and they think they are smart because they noticed the same person was managing multiple accounts! Even though all of them belonged to different people from different respectable companies. Yeah! they don’t know what a webmaster is! Bidvertiser totally SUCKS! And if that is not enough, remember you have to either manually choose each ad to display or allow them to automatically put anything in your site, and they surely have pretty bad advertisers that can quickly lower the quality of your pages.

Nicholas,

Nothing wrong with disagreeing with me at all. :)

I wrote this post back in January and I also find what you’re saying to be true. I haven’t had much luck with their program and you have to invest way too much time into the program which makes it well not worth it. Especially knowing that you can simply drag and drop a Google AdSense ad in its spot and forget about it.
