OpenX is a good way, but there are many others, OIOPublisher and Googles new ad server pop to mind for blog solutions. Just my two cents.
I can’t find information about Google’s Ad Server Pop.. only thing I can find is their FAQ Page. If you have a link that will give us more information, please provide it.
As far as OIOPublisher, this is not free and cost $37 dollars. While that isn’t expensive I can say that I am pretty annoyed with seeing these 125×125 button banners being advertised all over MMO blog niche. If they have an affiliate program that encourages bloggers to promote their service, which to me, seems like a lot of people are advertising their service, then perhaps that might not be the best option.
Instead of dropping a comment with your two cents that really doesn’t tell me much of anything, why not leave the other .98c and tell me why someone should use OIOPublisher over OpenX? I’d like to know what you know about OpenX, what you know about OIOPublisher and why someone should choose one over the other.
Could this be installed and used to rotate affiliate ads set up through Pepperjam, CJ, Azoogle etc etc?
And then…. would you be able to point certain affiliates to certain visitors. EG. could you sent up a group of US, Canadian and UK ads and have them show when people from the country in question visits?
Forest the first question, yes! Indeed… I that is kinda the reason why I was on the hunt for software. The other question, I believe so… but I am not certain. OpenX documentation and support are superior, so I’d check out their site to seek the answers.

Regarding the survey, the link and reward was offered to you specifically. We did a special deal with e-consultancy so that we could offer a reward to existing publishers on the OpenX mailing list for completing the survey.
We haven’t promoted the survey online and, unfortunately, we are not currently in a position to give the same reward to people who aren’t currently on the OpenX mailing list.

Man……lol, you don’t even know. Let’s just say, you may have just saved me some money that would have been spent on another ad server. Now, I will admit, OIOpublisher has some cool features from what I can see, like being able to use it for selling products on your blog.
But I have been looking for an ad server for a while, and one that is free is oh so sweet for me at this point!
