Make Money Online With Party Poker

So it was just a few days ago when I wrote a post about making money online by running your own online casino site. After thinking back on it I thought maybe that could be a little too much of a project to take on. Perhaps starting small and getting your feet wet a little bit would be a better option. So what about starting something game specific? What about starting a site that focuses on one game rather than multiple games. Could we then call that micro niche online gambling? lol

Thinking about that more and more, I wondered what the most popular type of game was and I concluded that online poker was probably the winner. In fact, I have quite a few GCDC readers who play poker often so even that points to me that if I was to create some kind of micro niche gambling site, online poker is where the money would be at.

So how do you start an online poker site? I kind of wondered that too and did a few searches and ended up finding a site called PartyPoker.com. Immediately, it’s like second nature now, I quickly scrolled down to the bottom of the page to look at the footer links. Sure enough, they had an affiliate program.

So how do you make money online with PartyPoker.com’s Affiliate program? Well, doing a little investigation, I was soon lead to a place called PartyPartners.com which seems to be an affilate network, similar to PepperjamNETWORK but only for online gambling programs. Joining this network would then allow me to participate in the PartyPoker.com program.

On thing I discovered pretty quickly after my last post is that it can be pretty difficult to run your own gambling site. In many ways it might be better to just let the big guys run these sites and to just be a sales associate or affiliate. Many of these sites are pretty advanced.

PartyPoker.com, for example, has an online poker program that visitors can download towards using their service. I don’t know anything about creating desktop software for online games, and I am sure you don’t either. So instead of dealing with all this headache stuff, joining the affilate program could be much easier. All is needed is to drive traffic and convert traffic into sales.

Well, as we all know, running a simple blog can totally drive traffic to any affiliate product or service. So in the long run of things, and for sure, comparing what I have learned since my last post, I do know that it is possible to start on of these sites yourself. But I think doing so is very difficult. Even to the point of doing something game specific, such as Poker.

I think going back to the simple process of creating a micro niche blog and promoting these services via their various affiliate programs is the key to success. Drive traffic and let these big fish online gambling sites take care of the rest.

One thing is for sure, if you look closely at these affilate programs, such as PartyPoker.com, you’ll see that payouts are huge for conversions. I’d say that if you knew anything about these games, such as Poker, Slots, etc… you might want to toy around with starting a little blog towards seeing how well it does. Online gambling may be a very competitive market, but I don’t think many people are micro blogging it and going after the longtail keywords. Perhaps it’s something to think about… what are your thoughts?
