Interesting offer – I’m a retired journalist who still likes writing.
Got a B in English at the U of W in the fifties and free-lanced for several Fleet Street papers from 1973 into the late nineties when I started writing for a now defunct on-line British news agency.
But maybe being a Scandinavian without a blog of his own – working on it – disqualifies me.

Well, you did say that the first qualified person gets the job, and let’s face it, Mark is probably over-qualified.

I think it sounds like a great plan, but can you elaborate a little on the details or is that something you’d rather go over with your candidates? For example, is there a minimum/maximum word count, what do your writers need to write about, how often should they post?

Sometimes the details make an offer seem even better than before.
