NameCheap.com Coupon Codes

with 16 comments

If you are like me, then purchasing domain names is almost an everyday occurrence. I use NameCheap.com because of their price and their simplicity. With that said, if I can save even more money then I am not going to deny that. A few months ago when I was ordering a domain name from NameCheap.com, I noticed the “Enter Coupon Code” section on the payment screen. At the time, I didn’t have a coupon code, but I quickly decided to search Google to find one.

There was quite a few pages and sites offering information leading to scoring NameCheap.com coupon codes, but most were all spam sites and splogs. I did find two sites among the mass of disorganized garbage that do a decent job at keeping up to date. The first time is called NameCheapCoupon.com and the other site is called Retailmenot.com. The first site is a very simple WordPress blog that seems to get updated once a month with the new NameCheap Coupon of the month.

I have used the May 2009 coupon many times last month. Currently, I am waiting for the author to post the June 2009 coupon code. I did manage to find one that is working properly for June 2009. That coupon code is: INTERFACE.The other site, Retailmenot.com seems to be ok, but as long as NameCheapCoupon.com stays up to date, I don’t see any need for visiting the other. Their system is pretty cool because it allows users to vote on the reliability of each coupon code.

All in all, if you are looking for an excellent place to register domain names, I recommend using NameCheap.com. For years I was very fond of GoDaddy.com, but over the last year they seem to have gotten too commercial and navigating on their site is very slow and clunky. I can successfully register a domain name using NameCheap.com in a matter of seconds and have the domain name configured and live on my server in less than minute.

What other sites do you know of that offer NameCheap.com coupon codes and GoDaddy.com coupon codes? Also, if you don’t use NameCheap.com or GoDaddy.com to register domain names, which site do you use and why?

  • How To Find a Good Domain Name?

Finding a good domain name can be tricky. I register my domain names on NameCheap.com, however they don’t really offer any tools that help me discover available domain names that match what I’m looking for. In the past, I would use GoDaddy to search for names, and NameCheap to order...
  • Don’t Let GoDaddy Auto Renew Your Domain Names

Unless you want them too… If you’re like me, then you probably own more domain names than the days you have actually lived here on Earth. If that is the case, then it is also likely that you haven’t developed many of the domain names you own. The last part...

  7. You’re very welcome. I like the site a lot, I am sure you get decent traffic. The only problem is that people like myself tend to come there for one thing. It would be neat to think of a creative way to keep the traffic there and create some kind of second action that can aid you in your efforts (i.e. funding, earning money, etc.) Keep up the great work, you have a wonderful blog.

  8. Yea I have been trying to think of a way like giving away a free domain, or something like free hosting. Do you have any ideas?

    Thanks

  9. It all depends on what you want out of the site. To me, the site is very useful and I visit it every time I order a domain name because I forget to write the coupon code down. I purchased around 50 domains for the month of May, so I visited your site 50 times. I am sure you have a few hundred people doing the same thing like me each month.

If you want to contact me privately, I have a few ideas in mind that can benefit us both. (garryconn@gmail.com)

    Thanks!

  12. I guess you kinda skipped the part where I said this, “For years I was very fond of GoDaddy.com, but over the last year they seem to have gotten too commercial and navigating on their site is very slow and clunky.”

  13. I have to admit that since I always find a working code on NameCheapCoupon.com I never really bother to look anywhere else. They are my first stop and there is always a solution. What I wonder though is why they’re not trying to build up a list or something. I would definitely subscribe to a list that would send me the coupon codes every single month so I wouldn’t have to go look for them.

    /Mikael

  14. Most of the codes listed (and anything that ends in 1,2,or 3) expired a few days ago on 06-16-09. As a regular reader i know that people take advantage of these godaddy coupons on a monthly basis, so I wanted to make sure everyone got the info out to everyone in the nick of time.

The best new Godaddy.com coupons to use are:
    ZINE7 – $7.49 .com domains (and renewals)
    ZINE6 – 10% off almost anything
    ZINE5 – $5 off $30

The Zine godaddy coupon codes are going to be operational through june 2010, so please feel free to reblog these newly active replacement coupons. I know a good deal of web people and black hat marketers that enter domain name based Seo tactics for creating backlinks, blog mini-sites, etc. I’ve checked all around and these are the best Godaddy.com coupons out there for domains, renewals or any web development need.

I will be getting new Zine codes straight from the source soon that have different special offers tied to them. I’ll make sure to stop back and post it.
