Ok. Here is a quick 30 second read. But the tip is such a no brainer! I don’t know about you but this is something I discovered quite awhile ago… but when I figured it out, I kicked myself because of how obvious it was…

Here is a very effective Online marketing tip, this easy Internet marketing strategy is something overlooked by many people. Of course, this tip applies to the folks out there that like to sell things online. Bloggers who participate in affiliate based Internet marketing, bloggers who participate in Online surveys and the rest of the various make money Online programs and sell products on the Internet affiliate services.

When you write an article, sometimes the type of targeted traffic you were expecting is a targeted group looking for something completely different. Meaning, if you wrote an article about birds six months ago, yet today you discover that people are finding your page in Google because you mentioned the word “cats” once in the middle of the post. This is a very common example  of how sometimes Google runs a little buck wild when the Googlebots index your pages.

This is, in fact, a great opportunity for you! In a perfect world, prefect Google would return our perfect page on the perfect front page results. But we all know this isn’t a prefect world we live in… and Yes! We also know that Google isn’t perfect either…

But that’s ok! The 30 second Online Marketing Tip, the Easy Internet Marketing Strategy is for you to go back and simply edit the page! Re-write the article, story, or post with the content that the person who found your site was looking for!

Doing that, (again… for people who are selling online) now you can work in some relevant affiliate links, PPC links, etc.

The point is: Google found your page. Google sees the page as one way, where in reality you wrote it to be seen another way. Who cares! Re-write the page the way Google sees it, because how Google sees your page is how it will tell everyone about your page. If Google thinks your Bird related page is about Cats… then I am sorry, you are going to get tons of traffic to your bird page from people who are interested in cats. And when these people discover that your page is NOT what they were looking for…

Two things will happen.

One… they click back in less than a second and try the next page on GSERP.

or….

TWO. You can re-write the page and capture the interest of the viewer and sell him a relevant product.

People should keep tabs on their incoming traffic and question everything. How did this visitor find this paticular page. What did the visitor do after he viewed the page? What was the visitor looking for? What did Google say about this page to cause this visitor to click?

Change = Optimization
Optimization = Interest
Interest = Need
Need = Demand
Demand = Supply
Supply = Sales
Sales = Money
Money = Success
