Oops I Did It Again
I did yet another theme change. Sorry to everyone that gets mad when I do this. I can’t continue to grow and expand my abilities as a web designer if I can’t update my blog. So I apologize for the change. Every time I do change my blog, I would like to believe that it is for the better. The overall format and layout remains the same. I have a new header, some new graphics (all designed by me) and some new sidebar layouts. I received a lot of feedback about my use of Google Adsense on the blog. I do need to monetize this blog a little bit. I know in the past I said that I wouldn’t. But, honestly, its throwing money away if I don’t. People complained about the Adsense code being in the post directly below the post title… I didn’t like it either. With this new update, you can feel great reading my articles without any breaks in the content or advertisement embedding. All of my monetization has carefully been placed in the sidebars. I have completed the bulk of the design. However, there are a few more changes that I will be making on my individual post pages and as Wordpress calls them, “The Static Pages”. Actually, I just happened to pop over here and noticed the change. I checked your site first thing this morning, and all was normal, then I checked again a few minutes ago, and wa-la. Whole new look.

I definitely don’t mind ads below the title, but I like where you have them now as well. You’ll have to share how the CTR compares to where they were before after a week or two.

I haven’t been here for a couple of days and Gosh, what a surprise. Absolutely love the new look. Btw, not sure whether it’s just me but I’m viewing via IE and your right side bar from the “Win My Contest” gets pushed down to the bottom. Hence, there’s a space in between TLA and that. Was it done on purpose?

You have a tonne of ads now though, but at least you got rid of those awful adsense ones that were inside the top of posts – that is really annoying – thanks for that. Maybe people that think the adsense at the top of posts isn’t too bad has not seen them on a notebook with a 1024 screen – you end up with a strip of text, from the post, an inch wide running down the side of the ad!
