PageRank Predictor Is Broken
It seems that with the increased popularity of the famous iWebtool PageRank Predictor might have died. I have been testing it predictor tool off and on for the last two weeks with no success. I was following up in their forum and from what I have learned is that there is only one server that handles all the PageRank predictor requests as well as many other requests provided by iWebtool.

Registered iWebtool forum member kenni, states, “There are on average 14 page loads on the pagerank prediction tool each second. On each page load, users are checking 3 domains at a time (on average). That’s a total of 42 check-ups each second. The prediction tool doesn’t cache the results. Each time you click submit, the tool calculates the future pagerank at that moment and returns it to the browser. To calculate a prediction of one domain, the tool makes 11 connections. So the server, is making about 462 connections per second.. and that is just for the pagerank prediction tool. The backlink checker is another killer, and so is pagerank checker etc. I’m sure now you understand why it’s down most of the times. I think it needs a cache system.”
The iWebtool PageRank Predictor tool is a tool that allows you to enter the exact website address of the page you want to check the PageRank for. You simply enter the url into the text box and iWebtool allows you to enter up to 10 different websites to check the prediction for. After entering the first address, a user would press Enter to add a new address on the new line. The results will provide a prediction of the future PageRank however this should not be considered true. The results can sometimes be known as current “real” PageRank.

Unfortunately, the form isn’t working too good right now and commonly times out or returns errors.
“I always get a cannot determine error. And I have refreshed about 20 times and still no luck
. I get this error all the time, and for some reason (out of luck) one day it might work, but usually by the next day I get that error again.” - Kieran Taylor
I hope that iWebtool corrects these issues because the tool is awesome. I used to use it almost daily to check the future Google PageRank of my sites. I guess we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best, either that or a working alternative.

Wouldn’t that be nice!
I just hope they get it fixed soon! If anyone is successful using the predictor let me know.
