- August 14th, 2007 thru August 31st, 2007. If I haven’t found a buyer for the domain name, I will launch the site, design and develop and create beautiful logos and graphics for the site. Wordpress will be installed and the site will be made live. At that point in time, the domain name, site design, graphics and any content will be made available for $1000 dollars.
- November 1st, 2007. If the domain name, site, content, design, graphics, etc. did not sell by August 31st, 2007 for $1000 dollars then I will apply full time marketing strategies to the site, gaining traffic, gaining establishment into the search engines, and gaining all the needed elements of running a successful blog. The site will then be made available for purchase one last time on November 1st, 2007. Estimated price will be $5,000 dollars. At that point in time, if a sale isn’t made, then it will be more cost effective and profitable for me to keep the domain name and it will no longer be available.

BeachBum, thanks for wishing me well with the project. I also appreciate the insight on informing me about traffic. I am curious as to how you came to a conclusion that I am not factoring in traffic. Traffic is the blood flow that makes the heart of a web site beat. I am not sure why you would feel that I am not factoring in traffic? That’s a weird comment.
I would actually like to take advantage of your comment here and address an issue before it surfaces. I am not in the business of flipping domains as it is clear that this is your business. I am in the business of helping others find success with blogging.
PopularBlogger.com is a project that will under go development, marketing (both direct referral as well as search engine referral) and all the other elements involved in growing a web site, including gaining traffic as well as a readership. This will either be done by myself, or by someone else who wants to take the lead on this project and take advantage of this opportunity.
If fact, this will become the standard practice of how I develop sites. I will make a public announcement of site(s) I am about to develop and publicly offer the option to purchase it out from under me within x amount of days prior to me going full force with it. If I have no takers, then it will just be one more site added to my fleet of other dot Coms I own and operate.
This is what I do for a living. This is my business. I develop sites that make money online. On the other hand, I run this site, my personal blog, as an open community that allows readers to discover (in depth) how I make a career in blogging.

If I had the money, I’d buy this one right now. This blog has a lot of potential behind it. As someone who does a lot of reviews, I could see this as being a great thing in a very short amount of time.
With all the blogs out there, a person could write one post per day, and never run out of blogs to review.

@ Tam P–Thanks! I’ve already got big plans for the site. I’ve been reviewing site online for several years now. When I first came online in the mid-90’s, I reviewed sites for writers. Now, I review sites that offer different ways of earning money online. So, PopularBlogger.com is going to be a site where I reveiw the world of, well, bloggers.

I have been speaking with Jonathan for the last two days with some emails back and forth. Looks like I am on board with you guys and will be writing one article per month. I might be able to do more, but I was real honest with Johnathan about that, I explained to him that I would probably be the lowest volume publisher, but the articles that I do publish, will be good.
I am excited. I will be forwarding in my bio, picture and my first article soon.
