Hello everyone,

I know that there are tons of regular readers here on my site now and I wanted to send out a quick post to tell you all that I will be updating the design of the site. The update could take place today or sometime in the next day or so.

Now, there really isn’t too much wrong with the current design, however, because there is so much content here on the site, I am starting to discover that it may be difficult for viewers to find the articles that I have written in the past.

There is a ton of useful information here on the site for new bloggers and pro bloggers a like. However, because of the current site layout, finding all these treasures makes it near impossible.

I am going to be using JohnTP’s TripleK2 Theme. This theme is a three columns. The site will have a left sidebar, middle content section and a right sidebar. The left sidebar will be used for navigational purposes: Pages, Categories, Links, Etc. The middle section will obviously display the most recent articles, and the right sidebar will display my previous articles. More likely I will be displaying my 50 most recent articles. This will help you find what you need and also help Google find what they need. Also the right sidebar will display the most recent comments.

MyBlogLog widgets will be used and moved into the left sidebar as well. The MyBlogLog Comment widgets will still be used in the comments of the posts.

I am going to be implementing Google Adsense on the site. I don’t want to publicly say too much about the reason why I am going to be including Google Adsense on the site. Let’s just say that I have a feeling that Google might consider my site in the SERPS over another site if I have Google Adsense and the other sites don’t. [hint]

Other than that… not much else will change. The re-design is mainly to help visitors find content on my site easier. The reason why I feel this is an issue is because I am having a hard time finding things on my site… and feel that if I am having a hard time doing this, then it must be near impossible for viewers to find things they want too.
