Samsung Blackjack VS Apple iPhone
Recently I purchased a Samsung BlackJack and at the time, I still avoided even considering the Apple iPhone. To make a long story short, choosing the Samsung Blackjack over the Apple iPhone was a huge mistake, and something I corrected very quickly. A few days ago, I returned the Samsung Blackjack and exchanged it for an Apple iPhone.
I have wanted an Apple iPhone for quite a long time. Last year when I had to decide between a BlackBerry Curve or the Apple iPhone, I ended up choosing the BlackBerry. You can read more about that on my post titled, BlackBerry Curve VS Apple iPhone. So for me, this has been a long time coming. I am very happy with the Apple iPhone. One of the first things I did with the iPhone was download the WordPress iPhone application.
This program is awesome. I can literally do all my blogging from my iPhone without the need of using a laptop. Granted, I am still learning how to type on the iPhone efficiently, but it won’t take me long to get my speed up. I can seriously do just about everything on my iPhone that I could do on my computer. I think that is a very valuable quality to have in a mobile phone.
At this point, I can honestly say that if you are up in the air about purchasing an iPhone, go ahead a buy it. Nothing compares to it. The phone is amazing. As this post title suggests, the Apple iPhone knocks the socks off a Samsung Blackjack. Originally I paid $150 for the Blackjack, it had a $100 mail in rebate, which to be honest… I probably would have never sent it in. That’s really the reason why most companies do these rebates… they know that a lot of people are too lazy or forget to submit the rebate in.
With that said, I already had $150 into a phone, exchanging and upgrading to the Apple iPhone was only $49.95 more. To me, it was a no brainer. With that said, if you seriously can’t afford an Apple iPhone, I would SERIOULSY consider purchasing a Blackberry Curve. I would have had no problems keeping mine, but I didn’t want to be stuck for two years with a phone that I already had for one year.
I gave my Blackberry Curve to Angie and she is very happy with it. Consequently, there was a Blackberry software update last month and she got it installed on the phone, and the update is absolutely amazing. Instantly and over night, Angie is now able to do more with her Blackberry Curve than I was ever able to do with it for over a year.
All in all, if you are holding all three phones in attempt to make a decision. Immediately get rid of the thought of choosing the Samsung Blackjack. That phone is a piece of crap. The battery life on the phone is terrible. Windows Mobile is absolutely a piece of junk. The phone constantly freezes up and shuts down randomly. And to be honest, overall the entire operation of the phone isn’t natural at all. Things do not flow nicely and there isn’t much logic to the phone.
In this order, I would choose the Apple iPhone over a Blackberry Curve. I would choose a Blackberry Curve over a Samsung Blackjack. And I would use a Samsung Blackjack as a puck for hockey practice, because really that’s all it is good for. I hope this post helps you in making a wise decision. Feel free to comment and share your thoughts (whether you agree or disagree) and also feel free to ask me questions about my experience with all three phones. I will be happy to help.
